Poor lighting makes it impossible to read the tiny font wine list which is less impressive unfortunately.

Great pub, dog friendly nice ambiance, friendly staff and beautiful beer. Wide range of drinks and food available. And the best fries you’ll ever have in a pub.

This cost me $8 and it was a small piece at that. Total rip off, one piece of chicken toast won’t be coming back for the food or the off wine

Great old traditional Sydney pub renovated to reflect it's heritage. Terrific restaurant upstairs which has an eclectic yet not too large menu done very well. I especially liked their fries (some of the best I've tasted) and Brussels sprouts salad. Service is prompt and friendly and prices are reasonable. Kerbside tables are available, and dogs are permitted in the bar downstairs - a great idea as this area abounds with canine companions. Loved the Old Fitzroy, I'll definitely be back! I'd actually score it 4.5 stars.

Had a beautiful meal here with friends in the upstairs dining room. Everything was delicious, service was amazing. Will come back again

Service was excellent. As vegetarians we were looking forward to a plate of Autumnal Vegetable with Roast Kippfler Potatoes. What came was around 2 small potatoes cut in half, 3 small cylinders of leek, 3 small sliced mushrooms, a couple of fennel slices and some fried kale. We were disappointed and at $25 each felt let down.

Great outdoor patio providing your usual pub feel. Head upstairs for some great quality food you would only expect from a high end restaurant. Downstairs they have a small theatre with great performances. Talk to the staff to find out when the next showing is.

What a treat! 17 musicians and 6 fabulous vocalists held together by a tiny contortionist/danseur - such talent on such a tiny stage! Followed by a gorgeous dinner upstairs. We love coming to the Old Fitz!

Lovely venue and excellent service. I did find the food overpriced for what you get. I ordered the Kingfish salad and there was more bread than fish and the only salad was a green garnish.

Food was very expensive and was a bit disappointing but still a lovely spot for a sneaky arvo beer!

Great bar with a nice atmosphere and tasty beers. But the food is really overpriced. Charging $15 dollars for a pile of crips with 3 slices of prosciutto, is a total rip off!
I will go back there to have drinks but i will definitely not order food again.

You know when you put salt on a leech? That’s how my tongue felt after my meal here. Good pub though.

Had a lunch of 13 old friends here and could not speak more highly. Concise menu. Concise wine list. A place that knows what it is. Has an identity. Amazing food and service and would recommend to anyone from vegetarians to steak eaters. Will be back

Always a fun evening at The Old Fitz for trivia - I love the atmosphere and friendly staff. Tried the fresh fig tart - it was beautifully presented and delicious!

Great location, love the theatre, but food is not good. Everything has been over spiced or over herbed. If they served ordinary pub grub, it would a better place. Most of the food we ordered was difficult to eat.

A lovely pub in the heart of Woolloomooloo with excellent “gastro-pub” food and a great selection of beers, ciders, wines, and seltzers. I real locals pub that is welcoming to all.

So good to see The Old Fitz rockin' again with full tables inside and out after probably the longest COVID closure of all our locals. New menu has nailed the options people want from a pub.everything from tasty and good quality bar style snacks to a decent steak. Also glad the Theatre has reopened and Trivia Wednesday is back - loved the screen questions.

Sat outside at the pub. Ordered Steak Frites and a few glasses of wine. Splendid. Great wine list.
