My family has conducted business with this store for 8-9 yrs, personal and business goods and appliances have been purchased, no longer more. My experience with not only this store but the franchise has been horrendous. Store and company put me through a rigmarole to seek repairs. I had purchased a HP laptop. I noted since new it had a rattle I put it down to a clip that was loose insidein 45 days the laptop wouldn't charge, the port had a crack, the internals were misaligned and edge of the port had a lip. I deduced the laptop had overheated whilst on charge and the plastic had liquified and eventually set.
I took the product in store and told a friendly lady my issues, she consulted with some one else, after explaining my issue, very nervous,
I was told they would have it looked at. I think it was the next day I got a call saying my laptop was ready for pickup, I thought this strange, I was then informed I according to HP had dropped the laptop.and I had to pay for repairs, thought this is not right as I didn't do anything and I also had the Gold concierge service (Scam).

I was told upon purchasing the service would include repairs etc, I took the laptop home to consult my pamphlet as it turns out it only covered small damages like spills when in store I was told 'all'. In other words the booklet was completely different to what I was told. I contacted HP and the technician I messaged noted if I had dropped it, the screen would be damaged also. I then went to store and asked for a refund, apparently I would have to go through my concierge service/headoffice.

Upon ringing them I was told to present this number and I would get my money back i.e it was a credit note.
I went into store and explained I had rang (I had been dealing with the same person in store) I was informed that was a Solvup number (case number I think) and not a credit note, My mother (as I am a younger guy) and i rang the head office in store and was told that money is refunded at store digression.what a joke right, My laptop was then sent off to HP for inspection to see if I could get a refund, l asked how long it would take as I started uni in 3 and a half weeks (I was told it would take 2), I was given a loan laptop which I was grateful for 3 weeks later I got a call saying the verdict was back, i greeted by a new lady and explained why i was here, My laptop was repaired! Wow! But hang on? I asked for a refund? I mentioned this and the original lady I had been pulling my hair out with said " its fixed", I got the vibe I should take it and go away, I did, I rang and made complaints to the Good guys

1st to head office.they couldn't help
2nd to the concierge service, which I wanted to cancel and get a refund only to be informed I had to go back into store.
Again I was left chasing this way and that.

14 days later the rattle came back, I went in expecting to again face the same person I'd been dealing with, a fresh face, she said no worries go home bundle up everything it came with and I'll give you a refund if you the card you paid on. ………. What after 6 weeks of trying to obtain a repair and then a refund to get a repair?

10 minutes later I had my $2,000 back and my Gold service was cancelled yay! I was offered store credit which I declined, in this month I had purchased other products in store and was considering more but this whole incident blew it.was my first time returning a product anywhere.that cant be the standard.

30 minutes later I walked out of Harvey Norman, with a laptop that was better in performance and I had proper cover for repairs etc not only by the maker but the store.

Went to the "good" guys to buy a heater. I spoke to the lady who admitted she knows nothing about heaters. She told me and my partner that she was going to get a heater off the top shelf. The cow spent way too long climbing the ladder. Once she finally got to us with the heater we asked about the wait, she told us to "build a bridge". Me and my partner told her that her customer service is vile and disgusting and walked out.

My son was after a phone. As we live a fair way out of town so they were happy for me to pick it up when we were in town next. The phone price came down and Lauren was amazing she rang me to let me know when I was on my way in. So greatful for the good guys help.

Bought a dishwasher here, Saw a better advertised price submitted a 30 day price guarantee, Which I still haven't received after their 21 business day period. Their Price promise and Customer service in store and online are poor, Sorry Good Guys You're Not Good in My Book

Not the best service. Very clunky software to deal with repairs and returns takes Forever be prepared to spend at least 15 minutes at desk. Good parking! Loading Dock staff fabulous

What a very poor experience.

To be told we will ring for delivery of goods.
Pack everything up ready delivery. Only to be told delivery driver has been to the house. Tried to ring mobile phone. Miss dialled the number of my partner. Well you had my number right when you phone to say payment was made.

Been waiting for 2 weeks for delivery of goods and still no real answer. Poor show poor show. Never again.

Absolutely horrendous experience they do not keep there end of gold concierge warranty keep making excuse after excuse n u end up out of pocket with nothing.customer service is ridiculous with staff very arrogant n rude will never enter a good guys store again

Good service at our last purchase, athough i dont like being asked by every staff member in the shop if i need help then completely disappearing when ive made a decision to purchase

Warehouse retailer of electrical appliances, whitegoods, audio/visual, digital devices etc. Plenty of parking. Spacious display area.

The scheme that The Good Guys have got going with the NSW Govt to supply energy efficient fridges to aged pensioners at 40% of full price is brilliant. Staff at Albert store are also extremely helpful.
