I refuse to go anywhere else, they're awesome all round, its hard to find a salon that can cut and style thick curly hair but Flick and the team are absolutely amazing, and you dont feel out of place, you're always made to feel like youre at home. Was a Dad that was lost not knowing how to do he's daughters hair for her physie performance and like a saviour flick helped me made my girl feel like a princess best money as a Dad I ever spent

Flick was amazing, she understood exactly what I wanted. She also gave expert advice on hair products and styling. My previous hairdresser gave me misinformation and I was using the wrong products, didn't suit my hair type. I am excited to finally find a decent hairdresser.

I finally found somewhere I’m happy with. Ryan is Awesome. My son has sensory issues. But he has built a relationship with him over the last + 12 months and now Ryan is the only person that can cut his hair.

Katie does my colour. She hits the mark every time. Katie and Flick helped me find a hair style that suits my personality and wavy hair.

Owner is fabulous although staff are very unprofessional with colour choices which leads to mistakes and leaving with a colour that you never asked for instead of fixing the problem situation gets worse and u are asked not to return. $150 later you have a colour you don’t want and an excuse of what do you want me to do about it!

Flick is magic with my curly hair and I won't go anywhere else. Great team and always a great experience when I'm there. Highly recommend!

I have found my happy place and it’s the Funky Parlour! ‍️ From the second I walked in I knew it was something special and I was right. The salon has the best vibe and the service is amazing! Flick and the team are wonderful, welcoming and knowledgeable, they really take the time to understand what I want, then they make it happen like the brilliant hair magicians they are. I’m the happiest I have ever been with my hair, and my hair is the healthiest it has been in a very long time. I will never go anywhere else, they’re stuck with me now! Give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

If you are like me and a slave to your frizzy/flat thin hair and your hair straightener, just GO and get the Hot Tools Volumiser from The Funky Parlour NOW!
JUST LOOK AT THE VOLUME! I purchased the Hot Tools Volumiser a week ago and I'm about to chuck out my rather expensive hair straightener!
The Volumiser comes with 2 barrels, depending on the your length of your hair - I use both. I jump out of the shower, towel dry my hair, use some heat protection oil and 10 minutes later - this is the result! Frizz free, smooth, super soft, bouncy and full of volume! My Bestie Dan couldn't stop stroking my hair, saying how soft it was and saying "it puts the lotion on it's skin". Poor choice of words there Princess but we get the jist of it.
Don't question yourself - just do it and go and get one from The Funky Parlour!
Side note - look at those lashes! Flick, you are magical fairy!

I saw Felicity at her Funky Parlour for the first time recently as my usual hairdresser wasn’t vaccinated. I was welcomed by the beautiful Dani who made me feel comfortable and looked after. Felicity is wonderful. She took the time to listen to how I normally have my pixi style coloured and cut, and researched the style to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. I was blown away with the result. The best cut I’ve ever had and the colour was gorgeous. I’m now definitely only going to have Felicity cut my hair now. I have also sent my partner there to see Ryan who I also highly recommend. If you’re looking for a highly skilled hairdresser or barber, look no further than the Funky Parlour.
