The Darling

We had such an amazing stay, enjoying a great view. The room was huge, comfortable and very clean, we really had everthing we needed. Helena and Jean made our experience even more special, always ready to help and with a big smile.

My partner booked here for our anniversary and we stayed in the jewel spa sweet. From the minute we walked in the service was fantastic each worker really makes you feel special and is fantastic at their job. The hotel is absolutely stunning I really don't have a bad word to say we will 100% be back

The service is unbeatable, they all went above and beyond to help us with extra requirement for our 13 month old. Special mention to Renato the bell boy his service was exceptional. We will be back.

4 stars. I stayed 2 nights at The Darling in the Jewel city spa suite with my partner for our babymoon. We couldn't fault the service. However, our spatub casing was faulty, and even after repairs (which was within 30min) it still broke. The spatub was still safe and usable. We couldn't connect our phone to the TV in the bedroom and lounge rooms. Housekeeping was lovely.
We used the gym and pool facilities. The gym was quite small, had poor air ventilation and the TV wasn't working, but the exercise equipment was in good condition. The pool was clean and heated.
We had breakfast at Sokyo which was a la carte and the service was excellent.

Stayed there and my partner proposed. We were upgraded to the penthouse and they sent up a bottle of Moët. Amazing staff and even better hotel. Made the experience great! Thank you The Darling

Booked into the Darling very last minute due to a work commitment. Helena at the front desk, was extremely warm and welcoming and really gave me the 5 star treatment.
I'm booked to go back next week with my Mother and I can't wait.

We had an amazing experience during our stay at The Darling. We celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary here. Brad and May made sure it was a memorable one! Thank you so much for everything guys, we really appreciated it!

Nice hotel, clean and excellent staffs. Helena at the front desk always look after me and my family with our needs. I go there few times a month, located near Darling Harbour. Very good location for Business and family vacation.

One of my favourite places to stay. Service and staff are 11/10 and have always gone above and beyond each time I have stayed here. Each time have stayed to celebrate an occasion we have either gotten an upgrade or complimentary gifts sent to the room or both. The are also so generous with hotel amenities. Cannot recommend this hotel and it’s staff enough!

Our stay at the darling hotel was amazing, we travelled for a bday/anniversary trip and from the start everything was great. When we arrived we were greeted promptly at the front desk by Helena, and she went out of her way to nit only congratulate us, but went to the trouble of giving us a complementary upgrade to a nicer room and a bottle of wine to help us celebrate. The room itself was outstanding, and we were given complentary vouchers to spend at some of the bars/restaurants in the casino complex. The hotel is close to everything and Helena pointed out some Overall i would give 5 stars (although i would love to give higher if possible) and make this hotel the one of preference for my sydney trips going forward.

Every detail from check in to check out made us feel so special. The staff are incredible and the room (Jewel Spa Suite) was beyond amazing. What a beautiful experience, we will definitely be back

My partner and I booked a beautiful room at The Darling for our anniversary. Being a special occasion we chose The Jewel Suite with spa (this was a big spend for us- but hey, treat yourself, right? !) when we arrived, we were already looking forward to our stay, the wonderful concierge (Peter) was so kind and welcoming, he asked if it was a special occasion and once he discovered it was an anniversary, he shocked us by upgrading us to, what must be, the best penthouse in the hotel. We were shocked. We felt like we won the lottery, nothing like this has happened to us before and may never happen again! What an absolute treat it was to live like a king and queen for the night with the floor to ceiling views of the harbour and city from every room. We could hardly decide which stunning room to sleep in! The Darling must be the most beautiful hotel in Sydney, the staff are incomparable to anywhere else. Needless to say we enjoyed our stay and will come back again and again. Thank you to Peter and the wonderful people that make The Darling such an inviting and special place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND-there is no better than The Darling *****

It's a nice hotel for couples and family, but not so for friends. The bathroom lacks privacy for some friends, The lobby cafe is outside the hotel and the car park doesn't go straight to the hotel lobby.

Wow oh wow! My boyfriend and I booked the darling for our 2nd anniversary and I couldn’t have thought of a better way to spend it! Upon arrival we were greeted by valet and escorted over to the front desk where we met Yann who swiftly checked us in (with a bit of humour and a lot of great suggestions). He then directed us up to the spa. We had booked a 90minute couples massage allowing us to make use of the beautiful outdoor rooftop pool, jacuzzi, steam room and relaxation room before being pampered by our strong handed and skilled masseuse. We finally checked into our room (the jewel suite) and it was SO spacious we could have a little dance, enjoy the view and get ready for dinner. We booked dinner at the Flying Fish where we ordered the moreish seafood platter and were recommended a gorgeous organic wine. Upon check out, we were once again blown away by the service provided by Yann as he recommended a nearby cafè for breakfast and organised to retrieve our car from valet with our bags already packed and ready to go. The experience was 11/10 with splashes of indulgence and luxury. We will definitely be back!

Thank you for Helena Darling team to make my stay more comfortable and enjoyable. The room is so clean and lovely. I received warm welcome from the Beginning with Helena, and She gives us level 12 for my free upgrade ️. I really appreciate it and will enjoy it for my special stay.

We stayed here recently for our anniversary and birthday. Customer service is first class and superb right from check in. The city view suite is the best.

Absolutely wonderful service! Valet parking, Fiji water on arrival, cocktails by the pool, gorgeous rooms, comfortable beds, casino only metres away but connected to The Darling and Sokoyo Japanese was incredible! Thank you for a great stay x
