The Darling

I had a wonderful stay with my boyfriend in this hotel! The best 5 star hotel I had ever experienced - everything is so fine, and must try their harvest buffet!

We had a wonderful evening at the Darling. From the moment we pulled up and checked in Yvette at reception was incredibly helpful and gave us some great advice. We received a complimentary upgrade and the room was incredible, the meals at the Star were wonderful and the staff amazing. We will definitely be coming back again.

I stay here regularly and it is an Amazing hotel and the service is second to none. All staff are beyond helpful, rooms are enormous and very well appointed.
Nothing is too much trouble.

From the moment I arrived the attention to detail was first class. Bradley the concierge and Sonica on front desk gave me such personal attention and predicted my needs. My room was well designed, functional and modern.

Amazing experience. Truly a 5 star experience with genuine 5 star service. All the staff are incredible. Cameron welcomed us with warmth, professionalism and a genuine passion for custom service. Couldn’t recommend the star enough.

Rooms are good, specious, clean however room service was not that great. Ensure to order food and drinks in well advance and confirm the order twice as they forget half of the things! Location is also good!

Amazing stay here made extra special by the staff. We came here to celebrate my partners 40th birthday, I noted this upon checking in and to my surprise they upgraded our room, provided a late check out and there was a delicious birthday cake in the room. The room was spectacular and I highly recommend, I wish I had booked for a longer stay it was that lovely.

So luxury, from the reception and the waiting room, to the actual room and amenities. Truly a high classed experience. But, I do still prefer the star hotel as it is substantially cheaper and more affordable and it is just as good, if not better. The darling didn't have a window and it would've costed much more to get one. On the other hand, he star hotel had a BALCONY.

We had a fabulous time when staying at the darling hotel. The facilities are great, got everything we need in the room. The swimming pool water is warm and clear. Got little gym can do cardio exercises and some simple strength exercises. Didn’t get time try spa. The staff is so nice and thoughtful, when they clean the room and see my hand cream, they leave another one just for me, which is so touched. At the last day, we need to extend one hour to check out, the reception just agreed without any questions. The parking is convenient as well, just under the hotel, only pay $40 totally for all the days we stay at hotel. Every time driving the car out, just go to reception got a free valid access to drive out from the car park.

All staff were super nice and smiled upon seeing us. Helena from the front desk was very welcoming and provided such a warm service, even taking us to our room. When she found out it was my birthday, she upgraded us for free which was super kind of her making our experience even better! Facilities are awesome and rooms are super nice, clean and spacious too.

We rented the Jacuzzi suite and it was amazing.insuite dining was fast and delicious.

We booked the “Jewel Spa suite” and the receptionist was lovely enough to upgrade us to the “Adored Suite. ” thank you for the amazing service and room. It made our one night stay at the darling memorable and amazing! Would definitely come back:) thanks again to the staff and for offering us a great experience and time.very grateful

The service was absolutely impeccable, with kind & friendly staff who were happy to accommodate us, and this place is absolute luxury.
The hotel is conveniently located at The Star, and The lyric theatre to which we saw Cinderella The Musical.
It is also a short walking distance to darling harbour & surrounds, with the light rail station conveniently located at The Star.

We had the most relaxing stay at The Darling. Special thanks to Helena at reception for taking good care of us. We appreciated your warm service. All the staff- from valet to housekeeping- were so thoughtful and attentive. We were greeted with water (which was gratefully appreciated after an early flight) and upgraded to a beautiful suite. The room was spacious and luxurious. The breakfasts at Sokyo were delicious. The location so handy to everything. Will be back again!

We booked for the jewel suite but surprisingly got upgraded to the penthouse.

May the sweet lady at reception was so friendly and accommodating. In fact all your staff was fantastic. So helpful.

The room was more than we could ask for.

We were greeted with a bottle of Moet and chocolate covered strawberries!

The room and view is to die for!

Will be back and recommend the darling to everyone for every needs!
