You must be so lucky to be the only business in the world that did not have to make allowances for covid. Further, it sure sounds way too easy to blame your staff And take no responsibility for the erroneous info they give to your clients. Being owner of Buddha bar, I trust you know what the word dharma means. I feel neither happiness nor contentment - just ripped off.
I spent $220 on a massage / facial package for my kids but bc of covid I had reservations about them coming in and was told that bc of covid there was no expiry on usage. Yesterday my son went in for his treatment and all they were willing to give him was a 1 hour massage - for $220. I called today to complain and was told I was lucky he got anything. So much much for good vibes and Xmas spirit. Have gone to that place many times before but never again. I guess keeping valued customers happy is not something Buddha bar cares about - just $$$. So disappointed- what a waste of money. Bah humbug. Could not recommend less! Hey

Was feeling completely exhausted by work and decided to go to the Buddha Bar for the first time and try the Indian Head Massage & Foot Detox. I love the brief head massage one gets at my hairdresser, and how relaxed it makes me feel. Well, this was another level. An absolutely wonderfully calming, and stress releasing experience. Thank you to to Juliana for her knowledge and skill.

The practitioners at Buddha Bar are very knowledgable and friendly. I have been there multiple times over the last year with some chronic injuries. Both Douglas and Van were excellent at getting to the root cause of the problems. They take a wholistic view of the body, and moved my limbs in ways that other massages have not done before. The sessions were not just simple massages. They really know their stuff, and talk at length about all the muscle connections.

I highly recommend both Douglas and Van.

My first trip to the Buddha Bar in Newtown, Sydney, was a gift from a daughter, and I was knocked out. Loved the vibe as soon as I walked in, then had definitely the best all-round massage of my life (and I've had lots!) from Van. I've already booked my next session, when I'll add 30-40 minutes of meditation to the experience.

If there was one word to describe The Buddha Bar experience it would be - Blissful. I've had the 2 hour Blissful Massage twice and have been incredibly satisfied with them both. Gonzalo was my recent therapist and he brought a warmth and calmness to my experience. Highly knowledgable and skilled in his art, Gonzalo created a space that was both relaxing and healing for me, thank you. Looking forward to my next experience at The Buddha Bar!

I've had excellent experiences at the Buddha Bar. I've been getting massages here for the past few years and the space has been consistently tranquil and healing, and the massage therapists have been skilled and friendly. I would highly recommend the Buddha Bar to all:)

Not the experience I was expecting. Pretty disappointing as I had such high hopes and had been referred by a friend who only said the best things. Felt like a big waste of time and money.

I was taken care of by the lovely Trish. Quiet a peaceful experience being surrounded by a tranquil environment was a plus.

We had the brekkie bowl and burrito.

Brekkie bowl was bland, apart from the mushrooms which were strangely very sweet.

Burrito was quantity over quality. Partner could only eat half and didn't really enjoy it.

Service was fast and welcoming though!

Wouldn't come back though.

Been seeing Van Soares for a Sports Massage on a regular basis for over a year. He is one of the best masseur I have every been to, friendly and tailored the massage to suit exactly where I was the most sore.

Really recommended! I went yesterday for a remedial massage with Caroline and she made my day. My shoulder was very bad and she focused on it from the first minute til end. She was very professional and the place very relaxing. Will come back soon for sure! Thanks!:)

The parking was easy in a small lane not far from the shop but there is a 2 hour limit. I took Mrs for a 90min pregnant massage. She had Sole as her therapist. Not too many comments on hers but Mrs said the massage was too soft though she asked a few times for a firmer pressure. Maybe it was because she's pregnant. I had Martin for a 90m massage in the same time. I felt it took him a little while to warm up himself before I started to feel good about his treatment. The tapping on my back at the end of the treatment was decent. It was overall good experience but I personally feel it's a bit too pricy. $150 for 90 mins. We have been to many massage shops in different areas in Sydney. A Thai massage shop would generally charge two thirds of this price but provide a same quality massage.

We just had the best relaxing Massage! Service was fantastic! Catalina and Mariana were so professional and have magic hands no doubt! Recommended 100%.
We should all do this more often!

The Buddha Bar feels like going to a retreat in the middle of Newtown. The environment is so peaceful, the staff are lovely and really helpful and the treatments are out of this world. I had a Kahuna massage which was amazing. Will definitely be back again soon!
