Those at The Bower were amazing! Helpful, friendly and had some really great things! 5 stars just for them!

However the staff at Reverse Garbage were not friendly at all and made me feel very uncomfortable

An interesting place. Visited the Autism assoc. What wonderful work they do. Congratulations to you all.

Inspiring place knitting community together. Partnerships with businesses, diverting good food from going into landfill, but instead going to the community via Food Pantry at low cost/no cost - a part of Marrickvilles War on Waste

ARCCO is truly an oasis of community spirit and resourcing. Visit soon. Much more than the Sunday Market. Too many good things to list, definitely something for everyone. Well done team!

Fun and buoyant on a weekend, rambling markets with some good food stalls. Weekday services for all sorts of community and individual needs, sport, art, legal, environmental, meeting rooms, the list goes on. Good job guys!

ARCC is forcing out The Bower, one of the greatest resources in Sydney for re-use, and where fancy talk about zero-waste has been put into action for the last 20 years. Today ARCC changed the locks on the treasure-trove that is The Bower and sent in removal trucks, not even allowing Bower staff access to the building to retrieve building contents. They rejected mediation and employed bully-boy tactics. According to The Bower petition to resist their forced removal, ARCC raised the rent for The Bower and Reverse Garbage, the two Sydney treasures that bring most people to Addison Road, by 250 percent this year, an increase that was only applied to these two tenants and not to any of the others on the site. I'm sure many others will be shocked by the closure of one of the few resources for low-income residents of the Inner West.

Very sad state of affairs at ARCCO these days. The Board have changed their Constitution and registered themselves as a charity putting themselves in a direct conflict of interest with their intended purpose, which is to manage and maintain the Centre for the community.

The Bower is being evicted and Reverse Garbage is already being targeted. Tenants are being threatened and are afraid to speak up for fear of being next.a classic case of divide and conquer. The Crown needs to investigate their practices as a matter of urgency before the heart and soul of Marrickville is destroyed.
