Offering the same quality of tea drinks as Taiwan, perhaps even better considering some ingredients would be locally sourced. Definitely worth the extra walk from the station.

The shop is tucked away next to a grill restaurant and you can easily miss the sign. They have a wide selection of drinks with a stronger tea flavour than most bubble tea places which I quite like. However, they are probably more expensive and the cups they provide have very little structural integrity. A normal drink will probably set you back $6.

I come here regularly with friends. While service is generally slow to take orders, food and drink come out quickly and the staff let you linger for hours, which is perfect for chatting.

Ten Ren's tea looks kind of like a little tea shop, but if you walk a little bit inside the shop, an oasis of courtyard and peacefulness is at the back where you can drink some tea and eat snacks while chatting with your friends. One big problem though, is there is also a lot of smokers at the back so you have to pick your seats carefully. There is unlimited refill if you order a teapot, so you can be there forever if you really want to. A great place to go to escape the hustle and bustle of chatswood.
