42Amazing experience with my cake order (birthday). Replies fast over email, very compromising, good value, beautiful cakes that taste good and it does not disappoint. Kudos to you! High recommended
Lovely ambient setting. I had rose tea which was lovely and unique. I had my jug refilled 4 times by the staff who came around which was really efficient and generous. Also had black tea rose chiffon cake. It was great! However a little noisy due to train right above.
The tea here is great and lots of different types to choose from. I keep going back to try every one! A small hidden gem in Chatswood.
Pros: Fantastic Japanese teas served in a pot. Infinite refills of the tea. Let you sit there as long as you want. Also AMAZING Japanese cakes. Definitely a date spot.
Cons: they started charging +$2 per additional cup, it used to be free. Very small tables and chairs, can feel crammed. Can be loud at peak time.
They provide nice tea and cakes but one of a male staffs are very unfriendly. He did not listen what I ordered while he kept talking to his colleagues in Cantonese and coming back to me asking same question. I must say he have ruined the experience for me.
Great experience and friendly staff. The Houjicha cake was enjoyed by all my friends and the drinks are tasty and aesthetic. The cafe has a relaxed atmosphere
Matcha latte and taro latte is very strong in flavour, and great because you can get no sugar. Also if you get hot teas they refill water up for you:)
Bought a Taro & coconut cake and a box of Yumyum Blueberry Tea, absolutely delicious! The cake is soooo fragrant and yet light, makes me want more and not having to worry about too much about the sugar content. It’s a nice place with nice vibe, will come back for more!
This is my go to place when I need some downtime. There is a wide selection of premium Chinese teas and herbal teas to choose from at affordable prices. Your of tea will be refilled upon request. The teas are available for purchase so you can make your favourite brew at home. There is a fine selection of tea pots and tea cups for sale.
The highlight of this tea shop has to be the chiffon cakes! The cakes come in several flavours and there’s also a seasonal special. The aroma of freshly baked chiffon cakes is alluring. Perfect companion to a cup of tea.
The tea was nice and the atmosphere under this Covid-19 world is excellent.
The houija tea cake is delightful and would highly recommend for any tea junkie.
Excellent cakes. Can buy s or oreorder larger ones. Good selection of flavours a D great for any occasion. Very happy with the quality especially compared to other Asian cake or Cafe shops around the place. Good place to sit and have some tea and cake. Open space with a roomy feel.
Very cool and Zen place to enjoy tea and chillax. The tea selections and the ceramics are great and eye pleasing.
It’s pricey but it’s a great niche market to be in for tea lovers (alternative to coffee).
The place is a little bit too cosy on a normal Sunday.
Lack of hospitality, service is poor. There are 3 of us but you have to pay extra for another cup to share a tea pot. Cake is just so-so.decoration is trendy and seating is cozy.though it's a small place and every one is chatting.don't expect it's a place for a quite afternoon
Modern tea shop which encourages people to chat and linger over pots of tea with some cakes selection available. Mostly Chinese tea variety but some black tea and tea mixture available. Good service, free hot water top up regularly. Reasonably priced.
Fruit tea taste like water, pu 'er tea smells pretty bad and taste worse, and black tea and goji are worse. But the place is good for small gathering for its nice atmosphere.
Discovered this little tea shop while walking through Chatswood station.
Lots of fresh loose leaf teas available, and milk tea alternatives. We went with the Iced Oolong and the Iced Berry Oolong. While the berry flavor is through fresh syrup, their Oolong is actual loose tea. So light and refreshing.
I'd love to come back for their milk teas on a later date.
Absolutely love this small tea shop. There is a long list of black, white and herbal teas to suit any tea drinker. The store is decorated with tea cups and pots all available for purchase. It is a very relaxing place to sit and enjoy a book. The cakes are amazing and all baked in house!
Unique set up for a tea place.love hojicha sponge cake, it is full of flavour yet not too heavy, perfect for someone who doesn’t like too much sweetness.
Many Chinese tea to choose from, they come in a pot and you get unlimited refills.
Lovely hidden nook nestled just opposite the Post Office in the Chatswood Station shopping promenade. A get at place to hang out and get some work done or meet a friend.
One of the teas we ordered was served in a glass pot with a broken lip on the strainer inside. We asked for a new pot because we were concerned of possible small shards of glass being poured into our cups. The staff simply scooped the tea leaves from the broken pot into a new one and transferred the liquid, which completely defeated the purpose if there already were broken shards. They also denied this when confronted. Way to lose a loyal customer.
