We had the pleasure of having our intimate wedding at Tanilba House. Dee and Glenn went above and beyond during the planning and on the day, ensuring everything ran smoothly and stress free. Highly recommend this beautiful location.

I would highly recommend Tanilba House to anyone who wants a magical fairytale wedding. We had our wedding at Tanilba House this September and it was absolutely perfect. Dee and Glenn's attention to detail was impeccable. Everything from the scenery, to the food and service cannot be faulted. We just wish we could have had the venue for longer. We were lucky enough to have a sunny wedding day so everything including the reception was outside. There is the option of having an indoor service if the weather is rainy but outdoors is optimal. We highly recommend having the ceremony at the figtree cathedral and reception under the viney arbour.

My husband and I are still on a high from our truly beautiful wedding at Tanilba House. Dee and Glen created a magical day for us, and we cannot thank them enough for opening their hearts and home to make our day perfect. Their set up, preparation and professionalism is second to none and guests are still praising their custom and thoughtful service. If you need an HONEST review of what Tanilba House has to offer, look no further. It is astounding to see that this place has anything less than five stars - it is genuinely that good. I can assure anyone reading the reviews here that any negative feedback says more about the person writing it than the venue itself. Tanilba House is more than just a business - it is a service that goes above and beyond for the ones who matter the most on the day. Our day was perfect because of Dee and Glen, and we thank them for creating the best day in which to start our life together. Outstanding.

From the moment my now-husband Nathan and I first visited Tanilba House, we knew it was the most perfect place for us to get married. Between the beautiful grounds and gardens, the lovingly restored historic house and the amazing owners, we couldn't have imagined a lovelier spot to say our vows and celebrate with the people we love.

Dee and Glenn went above and beyond to ensure our day was everything we'd hoped for and more. Our original plan included an outdoor garden-party-style reception, but some inconvenient weather (thanks La Niña!) meant we had to make the call the day before to pivot to an indoor reception in the conservatory, which turned out to be absolutely wonderful. And thanks to some flexible on-the-day organising from Dee and Glenn, we were able to make use of a break in the weather and stick to our original plan to hold our ceremony in the stunning fig tree cathedral.

Our day was pure magic and we had the most incredible time, as did all our guests. We're so grateful to Dee, Glenn and the rest of their team for helping us create the wedding we'd been dreaming of.:)

We had a beautiful wedding at Tanilba House in October 2022. Glen and Dee were professional, organised, calm and helpful to a fault. Every one of our guests commented on how special the day was which is due in large part to the house and it’s wonderful custodians. They were accommodating, adaptable and pragmatic, and all in all made our wedding day very stress free, which we deeply appreciated as we were organising the wedding from WA. I would recommend to Tanilba House to anyone. We were particularly pleased with the catering and wait staff. Thank you Dee and Glen for making our wedding day so memorable.

We have always wanted to be married at Tanilba House. It has the charms of yesteryear, beautiful location, wonderful hosts and stunning grounds. Perfect for photos. It was lovely and private and had undercover option if the rain came. So happy to have had our wedding here!

On 30th July 2022 I married my best friend and the love of my life at Tanilba House. A truely amazing place owned by amazing people. Brian and I are truely grateful to Dee and Glen for such an incredible day, so well organised everything was so seemless. The food was amazing, the team were so professional super efficient very friendly.and very easy to talk to Thank you for making our day so special. In May I had the privilege of marrying the love of my life at Tanilba House. The venue was magnificent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Dee and Glenn went above and beyond from the very first consultation to ensure that everything ran smoothly, and that we were well looked after.
We honestly can’t thank them enough, and will no doubt be recommending them to friends and family for years to come.

Words will not do justice to describe how much Dee and Glenn and Tanilba House mean to me and my now husband- but I will try my best.

Dee and Glenn gave us the best day and night of our lives. I am an anxious person but I upon arriving I felt instantly tranquil and calm, able to be fully present on the day thanks to them. Even after many champagnes I will remember it forever. All of the guests fell in love with the space and said it was the best wedding they had been too.
Tanilba House feels sacred made all the more special that it is a home. Dee and Glenn have put love and care into every corner of the house and grounds and it really feels like a place of true magic. We even had an Echidna pop in during the ceremony.

We are so blessed to have been able to be married there and will treasure it forever.

Myself and maid of honour have attended a lovely high tea around 2 years ago at Tanilba House with experiencing some delicous tasty treats, warm service and whismical atmosphere.

On saturday my now husband and i had the pleasure of getting married at Tanilba House. The vintage magic made it everything that we wanted. All of our guests commented on how delicious the food was, how absolutly beautiful the venue is, and how lovely the whole afternoon and night went.

While us girls got ready for the big day and days before Glenn and Dee spent endless of time ensuring our big day was something to remember.

Everyone always says that there will be hiccups, but the way Glenn and Dee presented and conducted everything it was a perfect day and night for us.

Being a local I have attended a few of the High Teas at Tanilba House. I highly recommend these events. A quality high tea served in a delightful setting with antique china, warmly greeted by the hosts, comes complete with a brief but captivating talk on the history of the house and finishes with a tour of this grand old dame of a house. To me, who loves historical homes and high tea it's the perfect!

My daughter’s, and new son in law, wedding was held here recently. Beautiful venue for the wedding and reception. The wonderful house is surrounded by fantastic gardens and has a great outdoor space especially dedicated to the ceremony.

This gorgeous property recently hosted the wedding of two of my best friends. The staff were absolutely incredible people and did a wonderful job of facilitating the most beautiful wedding I've ever attended. Would highly recommend to anyone else.

If you want a venue that is charming, unpretentious, personal and makes you and your guests feel at ease, then Tanilba House is for you.

The garden and building’s rustic character caught us immediately. The venue has everything on-site, with many options for an outdoor ceremony, photoshoot and an open-bar reception. There’s even an indoor wet-weather option. We were shattered when rain caused us to shift our garden party to inside but turns out it was the best thing that could’ve happened. The indoor Conservatory facilitated a comfortable intimacy amongst our guests, it even had a dance floor and the house speakers meant there was no need for an added cost of DJ or musicians. The room enabled our guests to mingle with ease and comfort.

The owners/hosts, Dee and Glen are a wonderful balance of personalities. Dee has an excellent eye for styling which we trusted without hesitation, and Glen was able to find lots of solutions for things. They offer a variety of vendor options and drinks packages, tailored to the type of wedding you want, so it’s worth having a chat to them.

Dee and Glen made us and our guests feel completely welcomed. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how lovely and warm it all felt. From our first meeting with Dee, we felt like we were in reliable hands and her flexibility for new ideas only ever grew. Both Dee and Glen were committed to providing a wonderful wedding day experience.

They were able to pivot around unexpected obstacles with the grace of experienced professionals - even welcoming our guests with a beverage while we waited for the rain to clear for the ceremony and following weather apps regularly on their phone. I attended my sisters wedding the other weekend and it couldn't have been a better experience. The house and grounds were beautiful and the hosts were even nicer!

A magical place, so beautifully decorated and preserved. The gardens and lights everywhere add extra atmosphere. I loved it. A perfect place to witness friends getting married.
