Tamworth Regional Playground reviews
60Great place for the children and lots of cover and a splash play.plenty of seats to choose from.just need to get there before the crowd.
Great playground with high slides and water play etc. Kids would stay playing the whole day and parent can have meal or coffee in the adjacent cafe/restaurant. Best one in Tamworth.
This place is awesome has a splash station and heaps of stuff to play on even for the bigger kids
Unbelievable kids playground, probably the best we've seen. The little waterpark was an added bonus. Mr 6 couldn't contain his excitement. Well done Tamworth.
Wow what a great playground!
More than that, it's like someone said 'pick all your favourite things about every modern playground and put them in one place'. It has a Cafe, undercover picnic tables, sand pit, equipment for all ages, water play area, street parking, shade, great landscaping and green spaces.
Great work Tamworth council. I want one of these in Wollongong!
Took my 1yr old grandson. Suitable swings, climbing equipment, shade places to sit, interactive play equipment. Excellent place for children. Nice cafe too.
What a fabulous playground- a great variety of new and interesting play equipment for the kids.
Excellent place for kids in Tamworth.
Huge playground.
A lot ride options for toddles, young and growing kids.
Adults can also enjoy few rides.
Great place to spend few hours.
Well reachable from Oxley sunset Point if you are going here in evening.
Range of play activities, including all ability equipment. Lots of seating and tables, shady spaces and warm benches in the sun
Beautiful place. Suitable for birthday party and stuff. Rides for kids. Walking track is awesome.
I would like to be able to recommend this playground but as a parent of an autistic son I am keenly aware of the need for fencing on public playgrounds a request that has fell on deaf ears in council since it first entered planning. On the bright side there is a cafe here for the parents that need fuel to keep after active youngsters.
Lovely spot. So many things for kids to play on (for all different ages). Lots of shade, plenty of seats and tables (granted we did go on a weekday, non school holidays so I don't know what it would be like on a weekend).
I enjoyed my stay here, although, I do hope they could add some hammocks or something for some to relax in, but it's just a thought.
I just love relaxing at this park, nice fresh shades, huge play area, good amenities and a lovely restaurant or you just bring your own food & enjoy the comfort. Amazing
Really top notch job by TCC to put this together, it is a great place to take the kids, ponds on the right hand side to feed the ducks, a walkway path up the top to do daily exercise, a little outdoor gym for more added exercise. But overall a great place to bring the kids with a massive variety of equipment to play on for all ages and there's even a canteen (overpriced)
Fantastic park which is big enough for big kids - including adults! Multiple giant slippery slides which are so massive you have to CLIMB to get up there! Flying foxes which were great fun, lots of other things to climb and play on, and heaps of stuff for the littlies too. Many areas are undercover, and there is heaps of room for lots of people at once. The digger in the sand was awesome, and the musical instruments were interesting as well. There is also a cafe/kiosk for when you get thirsty or hungry, but drinking water available for free from a bubbler. I didn't even realise that I missed the splash pad and the bike course, so will have to go back again for today! We went during the middle of a school day so not too many people, but probably pretty busy after school and on weekends. The adjoining park is quite large and leafy too, would be good for a picnic.
Kids had a absolute blast. Huge slides, climbing equipment, spinning toys plenty of open spaces to sit back and watch the kids have heaps of fun.
Awesome playground, well be coming this way again just to give the small person a chance to play on it.
What a wonderful place to eat lunch. On a long journey not far from the river. And Fun for kids with the splash play amusement.
Probably the best public park I have come across for kids ranging in age from new born to primary school aged kids. Definitely work a stop if passing through Tamworth with kids!
