Tamworth Regional Playground reviews
60 An amazing playground, kids couldn't pick their favourite. Soft fall covering is probably the spongiest I've ever felt.
An improvement I would suggest is another toilet block or at least a bigger one with a change room for the wet play area
It's definitely one of the best playground and kids friendly nature parks in Australia! Our boys love it so much! Highly recommend for families with small and/or big kids!
Fabulous Park to take the kids with a good cafe right there too. Good shade to sit and have a coffee while the kids play
If you're looking for a playground that your kids will like I highly recommend Tamworth regional playground! They have so many stuff there that your kids will definitely love! Even teenager can enjoy this playground
This playground is actually a rather large area, We had a Family "reunion" of sorts and the only issue we had was the Cafe prices $4: 50 a can of lemonade, coke, even bottles of water $4: 20 and it shuts at around 1pm (& this was a Thursday) lots of kids amusement eg; slides swings & and climbing bars ect.
A great place for the young and young at heart to relax and spend time using the different sorts of play equipment. The council are renovating the area by placing rubberised softfall under the items to replace the pine chips.
Great regional Park. More suited to older kids. Parking is plentiful, cafe is near by for thirsty parents.
Excellent park and plenty of room for picnic. Tables and chairs are available and the Cafe for lunch etc is great. Highly recommended.
Kids spent a few hours playing here. There are different areas with slides, swings, climbing things, space to kick a footy and areas to ride bikes/scooters. There's a cafe and toilets, as well as tables and seating
What an incredible park and playground for kids, playing along with a forest of millions of Bat - flying fox.
Slogan on board says "living with flying fox"
Lots of playground set up with giant fun slides, swings and flying fox ~ super popular
Don't forget the amazing looking and popular cafe on site next to playground.
Tons of 3P Parking next to the park available with disability parking as well.
Strongly recommended.
Kids were rude. Had no compassion for others. Inappropriate behaviour. Got touched many times in Inappropriate areas. Do not recommend
Now this place is awesome.
Even at 9.30 at night the kids loved it, I can only imagine how awesome it would be during the day.
So much for the kids to do here, this would keep em busy all day no problem.
It's clean and well maintained and has lots of places for mum and dad to sit and watch the kids play, there's even a little Cafe there as well.
Great playground only downside is the park land area across from playground full of bat's and the smell disgusting won't be coming back.
Great playground for all ages, seperate areas for smaller ones and medium ones. Some amazing slides for the bigger kids and BBQ area. Really a fantastic playground.
Love this place. A beautiful play ground for kids within the Waler memorial park. An outdoor workout gym and the HopScotch restaurant in the park completes all leisure needs to spend a day peacefully.
Such a huge and amazing park.
Came here with my Kids' team mates for some team bonding.
Great facilities also (BBQ, tables, amenities).
Such a great park for the kids to play it and get to know each other.
Well worth a trip over to.
Possibly the best park in NSW. Children of all ages can spend hours here having a fabulous time. The big kids dont scare off the littlies as there is plenty of equipment and areas for children of all ages without encroaching on each other. Great facilities around the playground too
Amazing place to go with family and friends. Enjoyed my time there… it has a bench with a speaker you can connect your phone to for music. That was the highlight for me. Loved loved it
Kids always have a ball at this park, it's definitely a must see if you haven't Been already?
Would have to say this is the best playground for kids I've come across. I would have loved to have something as extravagant as this when I was young. We will definitely stop off here when on road trips in the future. Smart move by Tamworth as it will mean people will spend money in the town while giving their legs a stretch
