Symbio Wildlife Park reviews
45We love Symbio. Our kids both teenagers and pre teens have fun with all the feed able animals. The meerkats crack us up every time. The Lion Tamarinds are soooooo cute. Love the big cats display. This time it was a cheetah. So cool.
Visited Symbio zoo today for the koala experience mostly and we were so impressed, the keeper Liz was absolutely fantastic, so knowledgeable, so kind to the koalas and to us, took lots of pictures for us too! Was an amazing experience which she helped to make even better. The rest of the zoo was great too, food was good, we had loaded chips (bbq pulled pork) and a choc muffin. Great way to spend the day and a wonderful encounter we will never forget with the koalas. Thanks again Liz, you are awesome!
Lovely little zoo!
Each time I visit, I love it more. It has been done up so well, the enclosures are beautiful; the animals are very well looked after, and cared for. The new penguin facility is just being built, and looks like it's going to be great!
The daily exhibits are both fun, and educational. My granddaughter enjoyed the children's playground at much as she enjoyed hand feeding the kangaroos and goats. Highly recommend Symbio.
I've been coming here for years. I'm kinda Biased when I say this is my favourite zoo. I can easily spend over 4 hours here and still find something to be enamoured over afterwards
A really good little zoo where you can get up close to the animals & get a photo with the koalas & you can also pat the kangaroos too.
It is nowhere near as big as Taronga as it is just a small suburban zoo but the animals are all clean & well cared for. Great for kids as it is a laid back atmosphere.
An added bonus is that after you have looked around the zoo it is only a short drive to go & watch the hang gliders at Stanwell Park hill.
Great experience. You can get up and close with the wallabies and roos to pat and feed them and they even have a kids water park inside for when it's warm.
Had a wonderful experience with my daughter and grandkids for a fall day. Kids can feed the animals in the petting zoo area. Good playground for the kids and a good variety of animals.
This zoo is very clean and well maintained. The animals are well taken care of and they actually look happy unlike other zoos I've been to where the animals look really neglected and sad. It has a really nice peaceful and calming environment
Liked the place. Small but cute. Not a lot of animals but well maintained. Clean and has a good atmosphere for families. Very good kids play area. The zippline was awesome and the swings and other play area items were nice as well!
I liked my day out there. Don't expect too much. Good for a day out of picnic with feeding a few farm animals.
Amazing day out for the whole family. Lots of animals to see and interact with. We had an amazing day.
Perfect for small children. Not so great when older children visited after sport in the afternoon, but if no fault to Symbio
Very well run. Organised clean tidy. All the animals were well looked after. The cheetahs were beautiful. They came running out as feeding time.
Very well kept, very clean and comparatively not at all crowded, it is the most spacious out of any ive visited in the Sydney area. Great place for kids with new park equipment, water park and opportunities to feed animals. Save some food for the poor little goats down at the back separately gated feeding area as I think they probably miss out as everyone is feeding the kangaroos. Surprisingly excellent coffee too.
Great Wildlife Park! Well thought out layout. Also has a playground and water play for the warmer months. Good selection of animals. Hand feeding of very friendly Kangaroos and Wallabies a highlight. Food not too bad, average zoo food and long waiting time to order. Lots of areas to set up a picnic blanket with BYO. Also great idea for birthday parties. Overall great day out, recommend.
All the animals that we seen today we're healthy and visibly happy in their enclosures. A very thoughtful layout of enclosures is a nod to the owners.
Amazing!
Love coming here
Isn't to much walking for the kids and they get to see all the animals, the petting area with he kangaroos and the animal barn is my favourite, you get the feed the animals right out of your hand such a great experience for the kids.
The new water splash area and the playground are amazing such a big improvement to the place. My boys spend ages in this areas it was difficult to get them out go home
Wonderful hands experience with kangaroos, wallabys, goats, llamas. Playground and splash park look fantastic but we were having too much fun with the animals. Thank you!
Lovely place, great water play. But it could have better signage to different areas, toilets near the playground and information on where you can and can't feed the animals on the printed maps.
Had a great day. Clean and tidy. Beautiful greenery. Well laid out and not too big. Interesting animals and well cared for.
Symbio wildlife park in my opinion is the best wildlife park ive ever been to, combined with a play ground area complete with a flying fox plus a splash ground area for kids and youngsters, great place you wont be disappointed.
