Sydney Sleep Centre reviews
48 I found the staff to be courteous efficient and professional.
I was explained to how my machine worked in easy terms.
If you need help go here.
Getting a CPAP machine was a revelation after years of suffering fatigue and comments about my snoring. A massive thank you to the Sydney Sleep Clinic Team. I am finally getting a great night's sleep and waking up refreshed.
My husband and I have been under Dr Desai's care for treatment of Sleep Apnoea for several years. Thanks to Dr Desai and his staff for excellent treatment and advice - we both get good sleep.

Highly recommended and Sydney Sleep Centre has literally changed my life. Dr Desai is an absolute professional with an incredible wealth of knowledge in assisting people with sleep issues. I just wish I’d sought assistance years ago.
I found Dr Desai to be very knowledgable about sleep disorders and provided very thorough and up to date advice during consultations. SSC also has multiple sleep experts like psychology and dietetics in one place which makes it really easy to sort out sleep issues efficiently and being supported from multiple angles. Would highly recommend!
Sydney Sleep Centre has greatly improved my quality of sleep and helped my manage my sleep apnoea and restless legs syndrome.
I met up with one of the therapist and shes very caring, step by step on how to use and maintain my CPAP machine. Reception staff is very friendly. The clinic itself is very clean, also you don't have to worry about social distancing as they have installed protection screen for safety. Very professional service. Thank you for taking care of me.
Very professional and transparent. Test result data was shared with me for the home sleep study and CPAP machine trial so I could see the issue and any progress. During the trial I wasn't getting great results and was sceptical it could work. However I regularly kept in touch with the technician who provided helpful tips to adjust to using the CPAP machine at night when sleeping. Eventually I changed mask type to fit with the CPAP machine which yielded the results I was hoping for. I now get more than 6-7 hrs of uninterrupted sleep. I feel Sydney Sleep centre really focused on delivering high quality patient care, and this was noted from entering the front desk. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
Staff could not have been more receptive to my every enquiry. Process was one in which I was supported I felt welcomed from the very first appointment. Efficient, organised and yet friendly and made me feel so comfortable about my difficult situation. The diagnosis and management gave me so much confidence. Thank you so very much everyone who played a role in my wellbeing, I am so so grateful.
The Sydney Sleep Centre is the only place I would co softer referring my clients for any sleep related disorders. The specialists are kind, caring and up to date with the latest treatment methodologies to ensure my clients get the best care possible in the area of sleep medicine
I found the staff at Sydney Sleep Centre to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the CPAP products. I had previously used a fixed pressure CPAP device a number of years ago but unfortunately compliance was a major issue resulting in me putting the CPAP into mothballs. After revisiting my sleep issues with Dr Desai (who has been my long term specialist) it was agreed that I undergo a sleep study resulting in my need to revisit CPAP therapy. In working with the Nathalie and Denise I have been able to adapt to the Resmed S10 autoesense with much improved compliance from my perspective. I now no longer fall asleep in front of the TV or as a passenger on long trips. A big thank you to the team at Sydney Sleep Centre. PS My wife also thanks you.

Sydney Sleep Centre were so thorough and professional for all my sleep needs. I highly recommend their service and trust the tailored advice I received.
Good medical care with efficient follow up and resolution. All treatment options explained knowledgeably, including non-CPAP options for sleep apnoea. Effective treatment offered for both insomnia and sleep disorders other than sleep apnoea. Integration of multi-skilled team shows attention to whole picture.
Honest opinion. Clinic lacks balance between money-making and patient outcomes. Initial consult costs ~$500 and lasts ~15mins and very fast, but thorough. I don't have a problem paying for good advice, but thats not what I got. It is efficient but "feels" incredibly rushed from a patient perspective, and significant details are missed.
Moreover, I was rushed into renting a CPAP machine for several months with their 'consultant', despite already owning late-model unit.
Without me prompting, Dr Desai didn't describe range of treatment options available, nature of diagnosis and long-term implications, or provide information on therapeutic treatments and sleep hygiene. In my case, he didn't address my concerns about co-morbidities affecting sleep.
Much more expensive than Sydney sleep clinics which are free (bulk-billed) and aren't geared towards repeat visits. Their billing behaviour and practices also leaves a lot to be desired.
However, Dr Desai is a friendly, intelligent and knowledgeable diagnostician.
Dr Desai is a caring and compassionate physician. I have been seeing Dr Desai since 2011 and found him to be very thorough and knowledgeable. He always takes the time to listen and address any questions I have. His staff are always friendly and efficient.
Reception staff all are very kind and willing to help. Especially Nathalie, she is very professional, caring and knowledgeable. Overall friendly and welcoming clinic with high quality service.
It was uncomfortable experience for me. The doctor was speaking like a CPAP sales person. Also their equipment was very old style. I had to get a second opinion, and it was much better. I won’t go back there again.
Hello all, I've had a wonderful experience with the staff at Sydney Sleep Centre. Nathalie was an active listener, the reassurances and understanding of experiences I was encountering enabled me to be more relaxed and positive towards my treatment and the direction I was heading to fixing my OSA.
I guess I'm one of the lucky ones, I love my new cpap machine, my cpap trial worked for me unlike some of the people I've read about who've left reviews,
I too use to be:
*CRANKY from sleep deprivation
*NO RESPECT for the process
and/or
*PEOPLE who were tasked to deal with me daily i.e Staff
*PARANOID people were trying to solicit, rip off, there was always a conspiracy theory, the machinery didn't/doesn't work
*MONEY came before my health
(Personally I'd haggle for a discount on a car but not my health)
Good luck everyone reading this, hang in there and you'll get through the process with the help of the people around you.
Thank you Sydney Sleep Centre team I can only imagine who you have to deal with on a daily basis but you guys were fine to deal with and did everything right.
I have been coming to the sleep centre for over 10years & can highly recommend them-they are very professional & understanding. My quality of life has improved because of my treatment that was diagnosed. The staff are pleasant & I am always followed up as needed & reminded with texts for my upcoming appointment.
They are amazing people they look after you very well you always come away from there feeling very happy
