Sydney Park reviews
57Absilutely gorgeous park with so many things to do. Honestly one of the best places to visit in Sydney
Too crowded, too many dogs off leashes, too many kids on footpath riding scooters, bikes without supervision and colliding with walkers. Otherwise a beautiful park, much to see and do
Wide, open, and dog-friendly, Sydney Park is one of the best green spaces to be found at this end of town. How it will do after the massive WestConnex interchange is completed remains to be seen, but for now, it's a great place for kids, joggers, families, and dogs alike.
A small oasis in a high traffic, densely populated part of the city.
Well laid out and very popular.
Sydney needs more parks like this one
I live across the road and have been fortunate enough to see the upgrades and care taken. Very popular with kids, athletes and pets
Landscape planning amazing! Perfect place for sightseeing or picnic with family (including dogs) Worth the visit!
Sep 18 - Such a beautiful park. There are so many dogs here that you can't stop yourself smiling. The view from the hill is just amazing.
This is the kind of park every big city needs to have. It has a variety of areas and habitats that give choice to everyone. It is as close as Sydney gets to New York's Central Park. We attended for "The Big Adventure" as part of Sydney Rides Festival, Saturday 20 October 2018.
Love this park! One of most beautiful parks in Sydney! Best park to take your dogs for a walk! Great place for kids and picnics has lots of rivers has a really nice cafe
Big park, very well thought out and planned. Couldnt ask for more to enjoy a day out with the kids and dogs. Gets real busy on the weekends
Great place for a walk. Pram friendly. Parklands that go on for ages. Kid friendly, pet friendly, has kiosk/cafe that accepts card.
Nice park.lots of play equipment for the kids.dog park should be a closed in area as no one likes treading in dog poo while playing soccer with their children. Not enough toilets and are always in foul condition.definately needs a new large toilet amenity to cope with the masses of people.
This park is a dog lover’s dream the local council has done such an amazing job at converting what was previously a brick quarry, then landfill into an amazing reserve with beautiful waterways which attract local birds and other wildlife. Huge playground for the kids, plenty of picnic spots and places to enjoy the sun.
Really great expensive park but always when I've been there unfortunately all the toilets have been trashed or unclean etc.the cycling centre is a real bonus to the place
Fabulous place for kids to ride bikes, scooters, great play equipment, wonderful for dogs to run off the leed, family gatherings, birthday parties. Parking is scarce though.
This park is incredible. Sydney'siders, I know may not expect much, but it delivers above your expectations.
First it's big. Really big.
Wetland areas. Ponds etc
Dogs can go off the leash
Sports field (AFL, sigh).
Bathrooms.
It does a great job of recreating a piece of the country in inner Sydney.
That said
I'm pretty sure all the BBQ's have been disabled
Parking is not pretty
There's a distinct lack of wildlife - even birds and fish
There's a lot of dust. A lot. Because of the construction happening
Overall - looks like the Australian bush, feells like the backyard of a marrickville terrace.
