Sydney Park reviews
57 When you call your playground an "Adventure Park" you have immediately made my expectations soar beyond the clouds. I was pretty excited to try it out with my babysitting charges but I could tell, even in their little eyes, that they were not that impressed (we are kind of park fiends, using weekends to search for the next cool playground and so they have seen a few).
The scooter park was kind of cool though but more for kids who are comfortable on bikes and not really for scooters. Cool place for a walk too. The kids were definitely pooped!
Good place for kids, adults, families, and even for dogs. There's something for everyone. It could be crowded on weekends and holidays.
Good value for money on the deal, but don't like the location and it is run down, and lack lustre
Breakfast staff excellent
Food ok to mediocre,
Needs a facelift
This park is absolutely fantastic. It's a dog park so lots of doggies are freely wondering out and about. Big wide paths in most places but it can get crowded at peak times. Great for exercising and a Parkrun is held here every Saturday morning at 8am (beware of you are planning on coming here When the run is on as it's pretty hectic!). Facilities wise there are car parks, toilets, outdoor gyms, a big pond in the middle, a kiosk with coffee and food and a big area for kids to play. All in all, a very lovely park!
We watched the 9pm New Year's Eve fireworks from the hill in Sydney Park, the view was amazing and the crowd was lovely. We could see 3 different fireworks locations including the top of the bridge from there. Happy 2019!
View from the hill. Beautiful park but the children's slides are dangerously hot in the sun. Also could do with a fence around the play park to keep younger children safe from running off.
Such a great place to take a walk, sit and read a book or have lunch outdoors with that special someone. The gardens are just beautiful and well taken care of. I visited recently on a nice sunny afternoon. The park was busy with all sorts of people enjoying the outdoors. It was nice to walk through and take in the sights. I would highly recommend taking 30 minutes to see this wonderful space in Sydney.
Great park with something for everyone. Great kids playground, wetlands to explore and on and off leash areas for dog walking, paths for walking/bikes
Just gets better every year. Lakes, trees social dogs, cafe, run, walk, bike and kids road practise
Crowded park that seems barren. Too much grass and not enough trees. Especially important considerig it's the inner city concrete jungle.
Great dog park with a water area for dogs to play in, as well as a cafe. Great for families especially those with dogs. Some areas are dogs off leash but not all. Look out for the signs.
Honestly surprising, having lived in the area over 50 years when this was a polluted brickwork, they have done an excellent job landscaping creating a peaceful oasis
Our local park. We are going there everyday. Lot of space. Great for a bicycle ride, a picnic, get a coffee and relax. Our son loves the large playground. Very busy on the weekend.
Another fine example of urban renewal. A great variety of landscape with forest areas, open grass areas and waterways. Lots of walkers, runners, frisbees, kites and dogs off leash. Interesting playground areas and reflection parks.
Very spacious. Had a good explore around. Has a dog bath, a few play sets, a few grassy hills. Plenty of good views. Even had a rave style party going on in the middle of one of the bushes.
Best dog park
My puppies love this place
Payed 5 dollars for a croissant too expensive for a kiosk
Very nice.obviously a lot of time and money spent on the water areas and replanting.well done the designers and council.
The best off leash dog park and the cafe is a nice place to have a cuppa. There are a lot of seats around and they have water and poop bags for the dogs
Lush lawns and wide open spaces with a great mini traffic Park for kids on bikes. Great for dogs.what a lovely Park
Great place with wide open spaces and so many things to see and do. Awesome cafe and perfect space for families
