Sydney Opera House reviews
47It's the Sydney Opera House, and it really doesn't get much better than this! Incredible acoustics, amazing views of the bridge, and the most iconic Sydney you can get!
The perfect spot for drinks by the harbor after work or with overseas visitors. Drinks are surprisingly reasonably priced for location. A Sydney must!
First time to the opera house, lovely location, but couldn't get very close as there was a 100+ strong Chinese tour trampling round everywhere en masse.
Whether you are an architecture buff or a music enthusiast, when in Sydney, a tour of this iconic building in Sydney Harbour is a definite must. A vibrant performing arts facility, it houses multiple venues featuring music, dance, opera and theatre. A tour of the inside is highly recommended as the views of the infrastructure are fascinating. Truly a beautiful work of art in and of itself.
Shows in the house are fabulously organised. Cafe handy. School holidays has special shows for kids. A stall from one of the local schools had a creative workshop to keep kids occupied in the reception area!
Impressive architecture considering built up in the last century. The outside did look a bit aged, the tour operated inside the opera house is a bit short and not much to see. It was about 30mins, including about 10 mins video, 10 mins view of the river from the back of the house, 10mins inside the theater
Magnificent Sydney Icon. Despite it's controversial history during it's construction and more recently due to the advertising public protest and outrage. This still is a building that still inspires me to photograph it every time I visit Sydney. Despite having previously lived there for around 15 or so years. I never get bored looking at this great, innovatively designed and spectacular structure.
