I needed a small renovation of an existing railing. The process couldn't have been simpler. Brett phoned, came and gave me a quote when he said he would and gave me a competetive price. His knowledge of compliance and products was excellent. Installation was completed exactly how they said it would be done and I'm thrilled with the result. They even vacuumed afterwards. I woud definately use SSB again.

SSB installed glass paneling (around 19m) on our external balcony. Excellent workmanship, on time and no surprises in the quote. Needed to address some tricky angles but came up with a brilliant result. No hesitation in recommending SSB for glass balustrading.

I have no money & have to bortow to get this done! You said no. I told you that my fence supplier gave my a 5% discount.you retorted with " he probably inflated the price. Told you he gave it to me AFTER the quote.
Plus you were late.told me about 9.30 to 10am.
You arrived after 12.30pm!
I have witnesses as to the time.
Told me you were busy.
No ph call. NO APOLOGY.
Plus you cld not retain attention when measuring & blamed me 4 talking.

Very impressed by their service. Brett and Nick and his assistant are friendly, approachable and punctual. They take pride in their work which look great overlooking our leafy garden. The price is reasonable and they cleaned up the mess before they left. Highly recommended to everyone.

Brett was awesome to work with, very responsive and professional from quotation to installation. We began thinking white frame + acid edged glass but after his advice we ended up with Monument and semi-translucent spotswood which is much more durable, private and doesn't draw your attention directly to it. Only took 2-3 weeks to complete all 12 units led by Mick and Cooper - also very professional and very detail oriented. Pictures do speak louder than words.take a look at the before and after. The team at Shire Ballustrade just finished up at our unit complex in Brighton Le Sands.

From the beginning Brett was such a pleasure to deal with. Was always happy to discuss other options and what would work for our small complex.

Remove & install of Four balcony’s and two handrails were complete in three days. Access wasn’t needed inside people property’s so didn’t bother anyone. (The only company I was dealing with who didn’t need internal access) huge plus.

New balustrades look amazing, Old holes all patched up.

After waiting over a year for the original contractor to replace my rusted anodised steel front verandah balustrade, I gave up and found Sutherland Shire Balustrading. I cannot recommend them more highly. After an initial phone call, Brett promptly attended and recommended replacement with powder coated aluminium. From quote to completed installation, I was kept informed at every step. Mick is a true tradesman - he takes pride in his work and the end result speaks for itself - the old fencing was removed and the site left spotless. One happy customer!

Brett designed the perfect glass balustrade for our new villa that was in keeping with the architectural design.
