Had an awesome time at surf camp. All the staff from kitchen staff to surf instructors were super friendly and helpful. Everyone was there to have a good time and catch some waves. The surf lessons were great, everyone got some 1 to 1 time with the instructors in the water. 7 Mile Beach has great conditions for beginners. I’ll definitely be buying a surf board and coming back to surf camp soon! Plus it was ridiculously good value. If you’re thinking of booking on Surf Camp, do it!

Had an awesome time again in Gerroa! Matty and all the coaches gave us another ripper week in the surf. All staff gave great feedback and made it FUN! New menu features delicious new vegetarian meals (thanks Tommy & the kitchen crew). Lessons cover all the basics for those new to surfing but they welcome warmly those with a bit more experience too. No issues with big crowds like in Sydney. A great value option for a week or weekend away. So close to Sydney but you will feel like you are miles away. ‍️ New Covid rules mean groups are now smaller than my visit in January. It is a great chance to meet new people from all over the world.

Best place to learn to surf with best instructors. A very warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommended everyone to try it once.

Coaches are professional and lessons are very informative, I feel more confident trying to surf on my own after the camp. The 7 mile beach is really good for beginners, with a nice gradient and long straight white waves. The vibe around the area is chill and loving, people are really nice and honestly I would love to live there forever. Good value of money. Yewww!

In short: you're going to have a good time

If your Euro trip got cancelled, this is a heaps good way to spend your flight refund.

For those hesitant due to COVID, they've put measures in place to keep the risk as low as possible.

Enrolled to a trip with my University as an exchange student. Because of the university discount Surf Camp is not willing to refund our money and offered a voucher. We're all international students that won't be able to come back any time soon. It's a difficult time for everyone but cancelling an event without refunding the customers and offering a voucher to people they know won't be able to come back is a bad thing. Won't recommend this company to anyone.

The camp is not only located in an absolutely devine location, at an affordable cost, the program & staff are great too!

The surf camp team are exceptional! I have to applaud the awesome culture they have been able to create; by delivering a surf camp schedule that promotes a super fun and family feel environment whilst maintaining the highest level of professionalism to ensure customers feel safe, respected and well served.

The highly skilled instructor to 'student' ratio is well considered, ensuring everyone is guaranteed one on one time to seek feedback and advice on surfing techniques. The program ensures everyone leaves feeling positive and confident to pursue their surfing journey, whatever level they are at.

The team should be incredibly proud of their efforts and delivering wonderful experiences to their students/guests.

Amazing camp. Had loads of fun! Very cool staff, always up for a laugh and as teachers, do their job very well. Even the food and cabins were awesome.

The trip is about 2 and a half hours and you'll get to, probably the best beach out there to learn surfing. Also when you love birds you have come to the right place. They have black and white cockatoos at the beach and amazing parrots at the camp.

So why not 5 stars? The customer contact is bad. Replies to mail take on average a week and the phone number also leads to nowhere as they don't call back. So when you are booking and you want to ask the friends discount code, do that far before you are willing to book (it was 95matesrate). As they do not give it back to you after you paid.

Travelling to Australia was a big step for me. I had decided that I was going to take steps to evolve myself as a person, and hopefully grow along the way too.

Deciding to sign up for Surf Camp was a very unexpected and impulsive decision, I have never been a physical person in my life and knew that this was going to come as quite a shock to my system.

It was the best decision I have ever made. This camp is absolutely wonderful. Situated on a peaceful nature reserve, 2 hours from Sydney, Surf Camp feels designed to calm and nurture the soul.

Whether enjoying the morning Sun or sitting cozy under the wooden shelters and listening to the rainfall, there was never a moment where I didn't feel completely at peace.

The hospitality staff are all beautiful, gentle people and the food and drinks were incredible. The accommodation is simple but incredibly warm and cozy. I felt like I was returning to a simpler and more tranquil way of life. Free from any kind of worry and insecurity.

The coaches (Jose, Edmund and Johnny) are all exceptionally rare kinds of people. They have glowing hearts, open minds and wise souls. I felt nurtured, supported, cared about and accepted during every moment of every day.

In the space of a week I learnt to Surf, to engage in the ebb and flow of the Ocean. But I also learnt to embrace parts of myself that I had previously kept hidden.

Surf Camp is more than a school. Its a retreat for the Soul.

The best moments in life are those unexpected, I Ioved my time here and will never ever forget it.
