. The only place I found in Australia.saved me paying more to get it from Germany.

Had a quick but efficient trip down to mitre 10 last week to purchase some hot pink wall paint for my daughters room renovations. There was a handsome young man named mani that helped me out with deciding colours, he was patient and sweet, my daughter wont stop talking about him, she's developed a little crush. 11/10 Mitre 10!

This is a really handy hardware store in the heart of Newtown on King Street.it isn't as big as a Bunnings but it has everything you really need and so much easier to get into and out of. Good prices as well.

Prices cant compete with the big boys, but the customer services there is good, and it has most things you might need in an emergency.

Never thought I’d put up a review for a hardware store but every time I go to this store I am blown away with the fantastic customer service. Today I phoned the store to check what their range of door handles was like. The guy who answered the phone, Nate, happily went to see what he had in stock and put one aside for me that he thought met my requirements.and he was right!

Good old fashioned customer service goes a long way!

They have the friendliest, most amazing staff! I came in with a problem and with no clue on how to fix it. Nate knew right away the tools that I needed, and even took the time to gave me some helpful tips.

Fantastic staff! The store itself is not always stocked up with a full range of products (due to its compact "metro style" size), but the fact that you can always find a helpful and knowledgeable staff member totally makes up for it.

Fantastic customer service by very friendly staff! I called to order the Hills Retracting clothesline and the staff on the call was very friendly and helpful. It arrived on time and when I came to pick up, one of the staff member offered to carry it to the car for me. I'm very happy with the service, price and smooth order process. Highly recommended!

Take the reviews on this page with a grain of salt. The boy at the counter told me I could get $5 off my next purchase if I wrote a positive review (though the card he gave me did not specify that it needed to be positive). That caveat given, it seemed like a decent little store. I just moved to a house nearby so I assume I'll drop in from time to time when I need something.

I just wanted to get in touch to let you know what a fantastic customer service experience I had in your store yesterday with Brendan (I think that was his name! - young guy with short brown hair).
I needed to hang a wall hanging and thought I would just get a couple of hooks to attach to the wall, however I was shown a really great way to hang it as well as having it fitted in store and the railing I purchased cut to size. He couldn’t have been more helpful.

Best customer service. I had a problem with a faulty vacuum cleaner. The lovely Serena called the manufacturer for me, she then called me back with a reference number and I spoke with the manufacturer and I got a refund. The staff are always really helpful, knowledgable and nice!
