Absolutely amazing staff! Everyone is so friendly, helpful and attentive! They have a great variety of home project items and the store is incredibly clean and tidy! Absolutely worth finding a park in Newtown for.

I've observed this store over the past month or so. It is extremely tidy, well looked after and first impressions are amazing. I went twice to Mitre10 at Newtown, Sydney about two weeks ago. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the orderly layout. I was especially impressed with the dedication of the staff - in particulary the lady named Petey and the man named Oscar - who made a real effort to contact other stores to ensure I got the parts I wanted. Thank you very much.

Newtown staff are always helpful, polite and friendly. The staff have very good product knowledge. The opening hours are great, which facilitates emergency purchases. I'm so happy that Mitre 10 is back in Newtown.

Liam was friendly and helpful. Great store and size for going to get that one or two items without being overwhelmed by a warehouse where you spend more time than you would like and buying more than you would like. Has a more personal feel about it.

I ordered a fire pit online for click and collect, and Ross was amazing in helping me carry this to the car (this was 25kg!).
Petey was lovely at the cash registers.
Overall, I was very happy with my visit and will definitely come back.

Dear Management, I am submitting a complaint about one of your staff member's- a mature man with grey hair, who whistled at me several times whilst i was in the Newtown Sunlite Mitre 10- approximately between 4.30-4.37pm, Thurs 11th of June. This happened several times: a.when i walked in the store and b.when i was at the check-out. He walked towards the check-out staring, eyeballing me and whistling at me. I found this unprofessional, inappropriate and sexist. Please investigate.

5 stars for the service your staffs have been providing. Most of them are always so enthusiastic to help with whatever they can but on my last visit one of your staff totally ignored me and walked the other way when I tried calling him. That kid seemed like he did not wanna make any conversation.

Remarkable, above and beyond service. Julian did more than just answer my questions, but together we checked and tested to be sure I was getting the right equipment for my needs. And he did it all in a friendly, happy-to-help kind of way. He was even on target for estimated delivery times. A big thumbs up.

The staff here are always super friendly and helpful. They listen to your needs and requirements every time. Prices are excellent also. I would prefer going here rather than the big warehouses just for the customer experience. On a side note, there is a young guy working there that must be a child of the owner.he alone gets 5 stars. His service and manners are far better than people twice his age at other stores. Good work to all the team there.

Helpful when you want to spend money, but beware their return policy as you will be treated as a second class citizen. If packaging is damaged or missing they will refuse a refund. I expect much better policies from a large company. Will take my business elsewhere.

The staff is always willing to help and it's already been a couple of times they've gone above and beyond to help me with something. Didn't know you could be loyal to a hardware store, but here we are.
