I participated in the summer art school at Sturt and enjoyed a brilliant 5 days learning block printing. There are many courses on offer. I highly recommend it. Instructors are top notch and the facility is beautiful. The gallery and shop are well worth a visit. Great place to enjoy a coffee and a stroll in the beautiful grounds.

Sturt Gallery is a very pleasant place in which to spend an hour or more. On sale is an excellent range of craft: ceramics, woodwork, metalwork, textiles and more, at realistic prices. Additionally, a small gallery exhibits quality art, etc. A discreet Coffee Bar dispenses drinks and treats. Note that access from the car park could challenge the infirm.

I love visiting Sturt Gallery in Mittagong. You can register for art workshops, have a coffee and snack, buy gorgeous gifts or artwork and admire and buy some beautifully made furniture.

Great place to see or purchase quality pieces of crafts, all handmade by artisans. Woodcrafts, jewellery, pottery, paintings, metalware and lots more.

Lovely place with interesting and high quality works from local artists but the person staffing the gallery could do with a smile. Felt like we were disturbing her reading her computer screen
