Strata Master

I have been dealing with strata master for the last 10 years. Management team is very professional and very friendly. In my experience this is the best Strata in comparison to at least 10 other Strata companies that I have direct dealing with. Thank you Strata Master team.

Over 10 years ago I was chair of the Body Corporate and we changed to Strata Master Cremorne after our previous manager wouldn't return calls, emails or action anything. We had to hire a lawyer to get our books back!

Switching to Katrin at Strata Master has been a god blessing, she's professional, attentive and looks out for us.

Disappointing reading the 1 star reviews here. Admittedly some of the contractors (ie Structural Engineer) have been slow (eg 9 months) but I personally can't really hold this against Strata.

My company has been working with Strata Master for many years now rectifying TV and Foxtel reception issues when networks fail. We have found all of the staff very professional and easy to deal with, and always prompt to resolve any issues they may arise.

This is the worst strata management company I've ever dealt with, if I could give zero stars I would. I have a water leak through my balcony light which the strata company has known about for 8 months, not until I filed a formal complaint through fair trading they now say they are going to do something, its a shame i had to go down this track to make something happen.

Some big firms promise you the earth and at a very attractive fee, but don't deliver when it comes to providing the service.
Really, when you think about it in these time poor days, isn’t that what we’re paying a management firm to do, on our behalf?

The big plus for Strata-Master is that it is a family run business. This means that the contacts remain the same & know the building & it's owners - unlike most other managing agents where there is constant change in personnel.
They have served us well for over 15 years. Their Stratamax documentation record system is excellent. One can see the current state of the SP finances without having to wait for an AGM.
The three brothers who run the business are always helpful, courteous & on top of the latest regulations etc.

As Secretary of the Strata Committee, I have worked closely with Strata Master for over seven years. Strata Master staff are professional, efficient and service-oriented. Our Strata Manager Katrin is particularly outstanding. The Owners and the Committee constantly seek advice from and rely on Katrin’s extensive knowledge of strata rules and regulations which is always responded to in a timely, courteous and professional manner. Katrin is a supremely efficient communicator and competent manager, ensuring that our strata scheme’s administration is up-to-date, mandatory meetings and minutes actioned on time, the building fully insured, safe, secure and compliant with all local laws. Strata Master’s management of our building is first class and I have no hesitation in recommending Strata Master as an excellent strata management company.

A very big thank you to Matthew for the prompt attention and action regarding the plumbing issue in my unit. All is good. Thanks again.

AVOID! Unresponsive, untimely and rude. Truly disappointing to see the false advertising on their website vs reality.

I have worked with the team at Strata Master for 7+ years and have always had a great experience with the strata managers. Requests are dealt with quickly, efficiently and professionaly.

Hi there i run a 24 hour emergency plumbing company and have provided services to Strata Master for over 30 years and throughout this period we can only commend them for there management of their buildings with respect to the booking and handling of jobs right through to periodic maintenance.

We bought our unit some 10 years ago.
At that time we came from living in a Residential Home and found the journey into Home Unit Living with Body Corporate Committees a huge learning curve. Also I didn’t appreciate how much was involved in Strata Management. Strata Master as a Company is not only Professional in the day to day general management but their help and direction in the running of Committee Meetings and AGMs / EGMs, is outstanding. I would say “With the Wisdom of Solomon”. I highly recommend them as Managers.

Strata Master has managed my building for many years and has always provided excellent service and sound advice in running the building. Has extensive knowledge and advice of strata matters and all upcoming strata legislative changes.

Highly recommended from my experience, I have been dealing with Strata Master for over 5 years as a Committee Member.
During this time I have found the team at Strata Master to always being attentive and available to our needs as a committee and community as well as being able to provide sound and reliable direction and advice on any issues needing to be addressed.

How this is still operational is beyond me. I still get phone calls, emails, letters, fee schedules, meeting minutes regarding a property I sold over a year ago.
In the 8 years of ownership of the property, not one item on a meeting agenda was ever actioned. As far as I'm concerned my money was thrown into a black hole.

Wanted to ask a question about my strata property via ph only to be told to send my enquiry via email. The issue is every time I send an email enquiry it is ignored and or dismissed and not responded to.

Worst service ever! Impossible to contact, Justin was rude threatened me, bullied me and had no interest to support owners. Unfortunately we are signed for another 12 mths.
Extremely unprofessional. Stay away!

Hopeless hopeless hopeless. As others have suggested switch to another managing agency ASAP. How they are even still operational is beyond comprehension

Would give -5 stars if possible. Worst service, never responds to emails etc. Best to nook it off the face of earth.

Judging by the other one-star reviews my experience unfortunately doesn't appear to be too uncommon - I was still shocked by the level of rudeness expressed by Matthew at StrataMaster during multiple interactions.

Matthew was intentionally abrasive, unhelpful, and extremely aggressive in a circumstance in which a resident of the building has been without the use of their bathroom.

It's a shame that in spite of multiple negative reviews stating similar experiences that this company has not taken steps to remedy what is the worst experience as compared to many others across Sydney. Steer clear.
