Great service all round. (Wash and vacuum and clean the windows) I know when I pick up my car it’s clean and looks fantastic! I’ll be back as soon as it needs cleaning again.

I have always hand washed my car myself as I wanted to maintain its factory condition as much as possible. With the right washing and drying techniques, I managed to keep my car scratch-free since I got it 3 years ago. But I was too busy and so made the fateful decision of bringing it to a hand car wash shop for the first time. I thought surely they would know the proper wiping techniques to avoid scratches. How wrong I was. They were not evident when I picked the car up because it was sunny. But when I brought it back home in a shaded parking area, my heart almost sank when I saw swirlmarks and scratches everywhere – on the fiber glass components of the windows, on the tail lights, they even managed to put scratches on the body of the car which has a ceramic coating on.

Where it could have gone wrong – poor rinsing, abrasive wiping cloth, not using separate wiping cloths for shampoo and rinsing, wiping with force instead of just gliding the cloth. Oh well, I took the risk but never will I ever take my car washed at any shop again.

Although I really liked the booking system, the staff’s friendliness, the punctuality of the service and the quality of the cleaning itself save from the scratches. I really wish they would revisit the wiping materials they are using and their wiping techniques.

When I paid they didn’t know how to process
the voucher & asked me to pay in full &
keep my voucher. I said no
After 10 minutes of back & forth they
Agreed to accept the total minus the voucher value
Car looked great except for the water marks on the body

What a fantastic job and in a timely manner. My SUV was not in good condition, exterior not cleaned in months and the inside badly affected by lack of attention and too many beach trips! Star Car Wash at Panthers in Penrith have performed the unimaginable and have restored my X4 to almost new car perfection. I purchase the $200 detail and am not disappointed. Thanks guys.

Great service and professional. Sick of using the auto wash for half a job. This was much better and car looks like new. I will definitely use again

I have an electric rear door & you just need to touch the button for it to work. The guy that closed my door pushed so hard the switch went inside the door. Now I will have to get Subaru to fix it & of course I'll have to pay for it. Also marks still visible near both front door handles. If you take your car here make sure you check everything before you leave.

We had a booking and when we got there they cancelled us and said they are to busy and we had to wait 5 hours

by a young man; Raman, whose immecaple manners and attention to detail are a credit it to him.

My car was booked in, and $60 pre-paid, for a car wash at Penrith Panthers outlet last Thursday (26th October) at 10am.

On Wed 25th October I received a text message reminding me of appt.

I arrived on Thursday to find the office locked up and a handwritten note on the door advising to ring a mobile number.
I rang but it went straight to voicemail. I left my name and phone number but STILL haven't received a reply, after 4 days.
I have left feedback regarding this on the Star Car Wash website on 2 separate occasions. Still no response.
I also left a comment on their Facebook page with the same result - no response.
Today I tried to ring their head office - call went straight to voicemail. I left my name, phone number and a message, but I'm not hopeful of a response.

To add insult to injury I received a text message on 30th October saying they hoped I was enjoying my clean car and that they'd appreciate a review (including the link) so here it is.

Despite the reply from the owner (below), I'm still waiting to hear back.

Penrith panthers star wash was the best clean and wash I have ever seen to my car. Customer service was super friendly. Happy with the result of my car:)

Went here today, it was closed, wash bay bone dry, website said it was open, considering they always try to hard sell upsell tactics, I won't be back again.

The guy was awesome. He did an awesome job. Really happy with the smell inside my car, she looked brand new. Thank you

Dropped my car of was told 2 and a half hours went back after 3 hours to find car hadn't been washed.

Missed a few spots of polish, car mats were wet, didn't even vacuum the car properly leaving popcorn between the seats, and we had the most expensive service they offer. Staff were friendly but the job was poor. Not what was expected for that price

Fast detailed service and convinent location. Went with a car that was filthy and they did a great job, it almost looked new when they finished. Also like the online booking options.
