Outstanding service. Just used their “dry “ steam clean on my car carpets. Damp smell gone … but it’s dry not wet to finish. Brilliant.

I worked here back in 2001, the owner was a hard working Chinese man, it was a hard place to work, standing lunch breaks, feet were always wet, I was on a work visa from Ireland, i told the owner I was going to see the F1 race in melbourne and I'd be back, it was a lie, I had worked in porters bottle shop at edge cliff before and got a few days work back their, I brought your work shirt back to Ireland. Not the best car cleaning I had. Not coming back here again. I picked the platinum. And my dashboard wasn't even wiped properly. Few dirt are still on the seats, which was removable by vacuum.

Overcharged, manager refused to give a refund of the correct amount while not cleaning the car properly

A really dedicated lovely bunch of guys who always go out of their way with myself, my family & friends vehicles… would highly recommend them especially if you own an expensive car and have any concerns.

My car had been parked under a jacaranda tree for 3 weeks and was in quite a state. The lovely attendant took extra time to wash it twice for me at no charge.

The Star Wash employees fitted me in, when I bought the car in, later than I said. The outside of the car was sparkling, and the wheels and trim looked great. The inside was vacuumed and wiped down.

Used this car wash a number of times, today’s was very hit and miss. Lots of spots both inside and outside missed during the wash. Price seems to have increased as well

The guys were super friendly and got the job done in the time promised. My car was an absolute mess as I have two labradors and they successfully got rid of all the hair that was stuck in all the corners! Highly recommend

Taken my car to Star Double Bay yesterday 3-8-2021 for a wash and wax. There were some dots on the paint which I wanted to be removed with no scratch. Unfortunately they had used their nails to remove the dots and left significant scratches on the black paint on a new car. Same happened about two months ago the star Bondi Junction and when I complained they put me on the phone to speak with their “boss”. Their “boss” had extremely poor English knowledge and just started shouting and swearing and I didn’t say a word and hung up. Extremely poor service. Put your act together. Don’t take your new car to these places or they come back with significant damage.

The welcome was warm and efficient. Customer’s wishes carried out quickly and without question. A beautiful result. It was my first time at this car wash but I’ll be back

A shout-out to the team at Star Car Wash Double Bay for all their hard work. They clean my car regularly, and do a great job each time. Combine your car wash with a visit to Double Bay and it's like having valet parking on the ground level of the council car park. Loyalty bonuses and NRMA member discounts sweeten the deal. My car always seems to be ready even before the agreed turnaround time. 5 stars.

We had previously used other locations and been delighted. The Double Bay location did a very poor job. We booked the executive wash, the car seats were still dirty, vacuuming was incomplete, there were marks left on the cars exterior, the interior detailing was patchy. To top it off we had to pay for the carpark when we left as they could not complete the job in the 1 hour free parking.

We have used the car wash a few times in desperation for the convenience but never again. Consistently poor quality. Looking at the car it’s hard to see that it’s been washed at all. Dirty wheels, sections not washed and drip marks everywhere. Never again.

Very unfriendly and very unprofessional - 100$ for a car wash? ! Apparently my car was too dirty - I had parked it under a tree.so it seems these guys only wash clean cars for reasonable prices.
When picking up the car they had broken my number plate cover and the guys simply said it was already broken before.

Rude customer service. Got a text to pick up my car after i drop it off less than 15 minutes and u surprising the car was not cleaned properly when i raise that to the employees the guy told me the stain is in the paint (clearly not! Its just a stain not scratches) and i have to pay extra $200 to get that clean. He also rudely told me “thats what you get for $57.

I left my car there for a wash last Sunday. When I returned, the person who washed my car, whose name is allegedly Harry, claimed that the passenger side mirror fell off when he touched it and that he had clicked it back for me. He said someone must have knocked it off before I left the car there. As he had clicked it into place, I thought it was fine. I didn’t realise he had actually snapped the mirror off the plastic brace. At my request, Harry used some sticky tape to secure the mirror for me. However as soon as my car was on the road the mirror fell off and was dangling against the door, hanging by the electric cord. I emailed Star Car Wash immediately reporting of the damage and asking for its insurance details as there is no contact number to call. Harry called my mobile that afternoon asking me why I emailed his boss and why I was accusing him of breaking the mirror. Despite me telling him that the mirror was intact before I left it in his care, he continued to lie. I asked him to get his boss to call me. I heard nothing so I sent another email. Still no response. The operator and workers at this car wash are totally dishonest. I urge you not to leave your cars there as they do not accept responsibility when they damage your car.

Got to the place before closing time and they refused to wash the car after watching us park up, empty rubbish etc. Very unfriendly

Payed for a premium wash, got back after they said it was finished and were very unhappy when we realised the car had not been washed or cleaned at all, just moved from the drop off to the finish. No refund was given and not second clean.
