41Bad service at the reception desk the girl was rude and disrespectful i checked out 11th March never go there again pathetic for a 5 star hotel
Booked this hotel simply for the swimming pool and guess what, we get here and the bloody pool is out of use. Nothing on Booking.com to say it was closed. So basically Wasted my money for nothing. Aside from that annoyance the room itself is fine. Nothing special other than a generic brown room with minimal decor. The tv is very old and remote barely works. Stay at the brand new Holiday Inn right across the street instead.
Christmas lunch was delicious and very good quality buffet. Staff were very nice and very helpful under Covid regulations. Would definitely come back again. Only suggested improvement is the air-conditioning was a little cold.
Good hotel. Awesome Customer service. Helped me print an urgent document in the middle of the night.
What a brilliant place to stay easy access, close to arrival and departure terminal. Beautifuly maintained rooms everything is clean and shiny, food is fantastic. Will be staying here from now on when I'm in Sydney.
Difficult to enter and exit by car. Disinterested staff in Reception. Rooms are quite good, bathrooms are impressive, but walls are thin and let noise in. Smallest fridge. Comfortable bed.
Like my room that overlooked the airport.
Not that many flights were taking off or landing due to Covid19 restrictions.
Liked the air-conditioning set up for my room.
Sadly didn't use room service so can't comment on that. Free taxi bus to the terminal buildings.
No fitted sheets on the bed. Sheets used as Doona covers. Blood spot on one of the sheets. Average cleaning in bathroom.
Be aware with your credit card at this establishment! Got overcharged $227.00 extra! Spoke to desk several times Andrè hang up on us! Spoke to manger Rajendra.
We may have to resolve directly with visa!
Totally unacceptable
Fantastic staff, helpful, well-spoken, go the extra mile, attentive to details and I consider it not always easy to find superb service, but the Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport staff are lovely and professional. Anything I asked for at check-in, was responded to with a can-do approach and sorted with a smile. The pond at the main entrance is beautiful, the lobby is huge and stylish, the room was impeccable, clean and tidy, the bed comfy and the sheets crisp. The location is perfect, close to everything in Sydney, city a $13 ride on Ola. Could not rate this place less than 5 stars for great service despite the swimming pool not being open on such a sunny day.

Smartly renovated and refurbished rooms. Very well insulated to noise with thick blockout curtains. Nicely temperature controlled with large bathroom & excellent water pressure. Modern, clean and very comfortable.
Very reasonably priced, clean and staff are friendly and helpful, however rooms are only very basicly equipped - tea, coffee, toiletries. Unfortunately no microwave or toaster and only a tiny bar fridge. No balcony or operable windows. Plus the smoke alarm in our room was faulty and went off at around 7.30am and wouldn't stop, fire brigade attended. Not the best experience unfortunately
Close to a noisy railway, they don't except you to get food from the outside, they are not adhering to covid health precautions like wearing masks, even the manager is happy to greet face to face without a mask
Room was very nice but the downstairs restaurant was very dissapointing, very limited menu and small, definitely overpriced meals.
First time here, near SYD airport and not affiliated with my usual accommodation locations. Rooms were large with a standard layout, A/C was excellent for the hot days & nights. Bathroom was pleasantly oversized with a fixed glass shower/tub but no hand wand. TV channels were English speaking but not many available. View was of the airport but no hotel shuttle so hired taxi. Traveled from here to tourist areas using local buses, trains and ferry’s, navigation apps easily plotted entire routes to destinations and the sensor scan credit card readers made it easy to board and switch between all modes of transportation at least for individual credit card holders not sure how this works for families. Restaurants at the hotel were good but pricy as you would expect, some other restaurants within walking distance. Metro stations close too. I’m not a Stamford hotel club member so I was not afforded any VIP accommodations or offers. Breakfast was not included with rate so I probably won’t be back but if the Marriotts, Sheratons and Hilton’s are full then this is acceptable backup lodging.
Had a work conference, staff were friendly, toilets were clean. Food provided by the hotel was tasty
The service was horrible. The room was small and pretty ugly. I would expect much more from a 5 star hotel. Y felt like i was staying in a 2 star hotel. And the food in the restaurant was expensive and ordinary.
All I can say is check your bank statements when paying by credit card.so you don't get charged twice
Very near to transit and staffs are very friendly as well as professional. The cafe is really good. Foods are yummy. We got short on baby milk they even so kind that provide warm milk for my tot as we reached hotel at midnight. Love the stay and recommend friends and family.
