David and his team did an amazing job. They helped me choose a great colour and texture for the carpet. Bruce did a great job installing it - efficient, professional and left the place spotless. Really glad to have this all taken care of when we’re already exhausted from all the house renovation the carpet is of such great quality and really elevates the look of our home. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and come back for other needs in the future.

The choice to replace our kitchen led us to decide to replace all the flooring in our house.

Replacing the all the flooring was not in the plan - but as we had 2 different colours between the original part of the house and the extension plus cork in the kitchen - George from Solomons Flooring Willoughby suggested that potentially one style through each area would look better and would increase the value of the house.

Melanie assisted us in the showroom with some potential colours - we then took home samples to 'live' with the colours over the weekend.
Colour selected and quote prepared - George was able to get the floor installed before the Kitchen installation.
Removal of the cork floor in the kitchen was fast and clean - the new floor installed the next day.

We are more than thrilled and look forward to the carpet to be layed in the rest of the house.

We recently had installed by George at Solomons beautiful Ecru European Oak wood floors which look fantastic and the service and care was second to none.

From the moment we walked into George's store we were met with nothing less than professionalism, sincerity, honesty, friendliness and great knowledge of all their products. The pricing was very competitive and the installation teams for the timber flooring and carpet were first rate. George recommended a certain carpet to go with our engineered oak timber floor and while it was probably not a colour we would have picked it was an excellent match once we had it laid.
We could not fault any aspect of the total package and would have no hesitation in recommending George and his team for your flooring needs. We would rate him 6 stars if possible.

If you're looking for old-fashioned customer service, go see George at Solomons Carpets Willoughby. I recently had a plumbing blockage (caused by irresponsible neighbours) at my apartment which took 3 weeks for Strata and insurance to fix. Carpet in the entire apartment had to be replaced - it was stressful, costly and devestating! George calmed my frustrations by not overcharging and shuffling jobs around so my new carpet could be laid within a week. I first met George 16 years ago when I moved in. When I voluntarily replaced the carpet just 2 years ago, he recognised me as soon as I walked into the store. So naturally he was my first call when this current drama began. I am forever grateful he was still there at Solomons.

Having had George and his team install floorboards on our entire ground floor we decided to proceed with him to carpet our top floor. The result was again fantastic and we could not recommend Solomon’s Flooring more highly! We had a fantastic experience with George and his team. George always took the time to clearly explain everything to us and answer our many questions, even when we bombarded him many times! He reassured us that everything was going to be ok and to leave it to him and his team. The floors turned out great! We receive lots of compliments. The floorboards are of very high quality and have proven to be very durable. We can also say that the installation process (with the installer Howard) was smooth and worked seamlessly with our builder during our renovation. George even went out of his way to organise for us to view two clients' premises who had two different floorboard colours installed to help us with our decision. We are using George again for our next project so we definitely highly recommend him!

I have been dealing with George and David at Soloman's for many years.
15 years ago George suggested a high quality vinyl for my kitchen and family room. I wasn't sure but after raising our family in that house and 2 tenants later that flooring is still like new. This guy knows what he is doing. Today I went in to organise recarpeting the stairs and as usual I had a fun yet professional meeting with George. I cannot recommend this business highly enough.
