Excellent experience. Smiling, courteous, knowlegable, assistants and a wonderful introduction to the Snowy Region.

Good gift shop and knowledgeable staff. Need to have different sizes of the clothing, not just 2XL +.

Most unhelpful rude and "know it all" old ladies. The young guy who was actually serving me, was correct and nice. But stay away if you can, everything is expensive, and apparently you can now buy all your passes online anyways. Avoid the horrible customer service.

The staff were friendly and answered my queries regarding accommodation and activities in the region. The cafe next door was clean and the Chicken burger was delicious. There was also a small gallery depicting the history of the region and an art exhibition of local art and photography which I found intersesting and a high quality exhibition.

Very helpful staff! They also have a nice "historical" display about the region. If you are looking for a display about the Snowy (2) scheme the Snowy Discovery Centre in Cooma might be the go (alas it was closed when we went there).

Brilliant service for my NSW Pensioner Permits. Exceptional staff handled my questions with full satisfaction. Grab a coffee within the Centre also highly recommended. Nothing was to much trouble. Thank you.

Its a big place with so much info on various aspects of the snowy mountains region, construction of power plants and history of how it all happened. You could spend a whole day exploring around there. Staff are nice and friendly and you can buy gifts and refreshments

A really good place to stop and grab some souvenirs, as well as take a little timeout for yourself at the cafe on site.

Staff very helpful, particularly with advice for entering the national park in adverse weather conditions for using the trail rides.

Staff are nice but all is very much a marketing and 1 eyed view of the area. History is wrong and indigenous people are not recognised. Neither are the natural impacts of recent history being the last 100 years.

Just visited the cafe, which served a good sweet potato and chickpea burger with nice but unremarkable chips. A bit pricey at $18.

This is such a good information centre. Very big and therefore has so much to offer inside.
There are walls full of plenty of information brochures, as well as a very wide range of souvenirs as well as little gadgets etc.
Staff here are more than willing to help you out with anything you may need.
The models of the mountains near the entrance are really quite amazing and very well done.
Plenty of information regarding the history and the significance of Snowy River which is defiantly another interesting part.
Overall it was a great experience and will hopefully return again!

I loved the displays of old tools and information about the early settlement of the Snowys.

Kudos to the gentleman who instigated the building of the model that shows the old town of Adaminiby that was flooded to create Lake Jindabyne.

There are plenty of souvenirs.

I am not sure I found the staff too helpful but the shopping, the art and the museum aspect make it worth coming here, even for a glance.

Good source of information, but neglected to tell us the NSW national park entry cost.
Some souvenirs for sale and local artworks.

Helpful and informative. Can get the vehicle pass for Mt Kosciuszko either onward or if travelling in the closed hours, then could be bought on the way back.
