Do not deal with company.they are not prompt, not professional, do not have professional installation team, do not keep their word with installation date or time. I went with micro inverters and it is sitting on my roof in the last two months - but they are not able to make it function.what a mistake in selecting this company.stay away from these people

Do not trust this company. We signed a contract and it has taken 6 months and still haven’t heard from them they have taken my $650 deposit and now they are discarding all my calls. Very dodgy company and have now had to approach ACCC to get my deposit back

A bunch of lying cheats, refuses to return phone calls and replies to emails. Currently have a complaint in with fair trading.

Skylight Energy is the worst company I have ever dealt with. It has taken months on end to install the system. When I rang the owner to complain he told me to read the contract and that they had 6 months to install. Well it was longer than 6 months. They subcontracted an installer who was nothing but trouble and kept on stalling because Skylight Energy owed them money. As the customer I was left ringing both companies trying to sort out their issues in the hope I didn't lose my deposit. They kept on referring to their installation subcontractor as my subcontractor and blamed him for all the issues. They wanted me to pay the account and threatened me even before final certification which had failed compliance! Final word, these people are cowboys and make their own rules with threats. DONT USE THEM.

Since 2016, when Skylight Energy installed my 5kW+ system, I can't be happier with my energy bills and the look of my roof. This is a standard solar system, but the way they've installed it made it a piece of art. Smooth order process with expert advise, hassle free installation and two after sales service calls made me to give these guys a solid Hi-Five!

Actually rubbish they installed a cheap Chinese product. Worked for 2 days called up 3 times said they call back guess what nothing. Money hungry that’s all. Use someone who actually cares about there customers.

I used Skylight Energy for installing my Solar Panels. They were installed on the date given and the installers did a good job. The Electrician guy was very helpful in explaining how to check the wifi from the SMA inverter Re; output of Solar Energy.

If your house has roof tiles, then you must be careful with the installer. Skylight Energy mentioned that I just need to provide 7-15 spare roof tiles. However the installer broke so many roof tiles and I ended up buying 100 roof tiles at the end of the installation! (I don't like the silicon patchy work they did every time they broke a roof tile, so I replaced all of these patched tiles)
This is including about 5 broken roof tiles under the installed solar panel. I found it after I went in under the roof through the man-hole. The installer basically almost ruined my roof. One of them didn't know which spot of the tile he should step on causing this issue.

Apart from the dodgy installer, the Skylight Energy team is good and cooperative.

Skylight Energy was referred to me by my brother-in-law after he was satisfied with the installation of his new 6.6KW Risen (21 panels) solar system. I went ahead with the same, and installation was carried out today. The installation team of four arrived an hour early than expected, and they carried out their work smoothly, with no incidence (we have two stories), and not one broken tile. They were friendly, quick and efficient, and went about their work professionally. In the admin office, their staff were courteous, responsive, and helpful. We are, indeed, very happy.

Carlos and team are great ppl to talk to and always helpful. Bought a 6.6 kw system at a nice price and top quality panels and inverter. System pumps out 37.8 kWh. On a sunny day with a little cloud. Love to see in a summer day long what it does. Highly recommend. In switched energy companies. From energy Australia to origin. What a difference. From paying 90 dollars to minus 90 and still only half way through the term. Origin is far better with the 21cents feed in Tariff than energy Australia. To get the most guys shop Arnd electricity companies and do u maths. Even though energy Australia was giving me 12 feed in tariffs with 30% discount. Origin was better at 10 % and 21 cent tariff.

So Exciting to have my Solar system from Skylight Energy, Carlos gave me a best Price 5500 Dollars for 6KW Solar system and a whole first year I don't have to pay a dollar for my Bills and still have extra 150 dollars Credit into my Energy Australia Account, very happy, Thanks Skylight Energy.

After calling several solar providers to gain more insight into understanding solar and a system that would suit me all i got was sales talk and the offer of a cheap system not information. Carlos at Skylight talked me through various options and i settled on a Qcell/Huawaei 6.6kw combo which i am extremely happy with, which hit 35kw output recently. Installation was a minor irritant with rain affecting times & dates. Installation was quick and without incident. My expectations were low and I came away more than satisfied.

It was pleasure to deal with Skylight starting from Sales to Admin to Logistics to Installation and Commissioning. Jean was on the ball and kept me updated all the way including invoicing and payments. Needless to say, I am totally impressed with Jean's professionalism and commitment. Jean took the time out to arrange the meter upgrade works well before the installation started.on the other hand, the Gem Installation staff were great and professional in their work and made and impression by removing all rubbish and leaving my premises very clean.
I have no hesitation in recommending Skylight Energy to anyone looking for their solar system.

Mine was a complicated job. The original skylight quote was for a 6 1/2 kW system but when the installers came they had hesitations safely fixing it to our curved roof as the house is high on a hill and very exposed to wind. I appreciated their honesty when I asked if it had been their house would they install a system on the curved roof and they said no.
I went back to Skylight and they reduced the size of the system by nearly half and cut the quote and even then it remained a complex job because of the lack of a roof cavity and the distance from the meter box
But the electrician James was very helpful and despite some false starts because of weather and these changes of plans, the job went well and I am happy with the system and the modest cost it involved.

DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS LOT. I ANSWERED THEIR QUESTION "DO YOU WANT GOVERNMENT REBATE $4000.00, FILLED OUT MY DETAILS, AND I WAS QUALIFIED, NEXT CARLOS CALLED ME UP, TOLD ME HOW EXTRA SPECIAL THEIR SOLAR PANELS ARE AND ALL I HAVE TO PAY IS $22.00 A WEEK FOR 5 YEARS. THEN CAME A SIGNATURE BY MAGIC DOWNLOADED FROM SOME AMERICAN COMPANY, A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN ACTUALLY SIGN THE DOCUMENT BY THE MOUSE, BEFORE THE CHANCE TO READ THE CONTRACT Which was unreadably MINIATURE SIZED, WHICH STIPULATES THAT IF I CHANGED MY MIND WITHIN 10 DAYS THE DEPOSIT WILL BE RETURNED, IN MY CASE $300.00 But later in the contract says if I initiated the call or email the deposit forfeited. I initiate nothing I only answered question if I fall into the rebate or not. THEY initiated the contact by a phone call by Carlos that there are no worries it won't cost me only $22.00 a week which I taught was reasonable SO I sign the document before I had a chance to
read the contract. In the contract there was no mentioned any finance arrangement, so I complained by an email, no answer came of course,
it's only said where to deposit $4300 on their account and urgently TO BE DEPOSITED because the installer will come and start the job. THEREFORE BECAUSE WE ARE PENSIONERS WE CAN NOT OBTAIN A
LOAN FROM THE BANK, I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND, LET THEM KNOW 2
DAYS LATER, GOT A SHORT ANSWER OK BUT THE DEPOSIT THEY WILL KEEP. I WANT THE DEPOSIT BACK, I HAVE NO IDEA HOW, BUT I THINK I WILL GO TO FAIR TRADING, BECAUSE I FEEL IT WAS AN OUTRIGHT ROBBERY.

Terrible Company, quick to take your money then the service dissapears. They dont fill you in on what your supposed to do after install with your power company and screw you on your first quarter bill. Now nsw trading is going after them, looking forard to seeing them at the tribunal

So far i am unimpressed.no panels on the roof. No Green catch no Enphase inverters. No communication, no expected date to deliver, despite a personal visit to Skylight Solar Energy 2/651 Pacific Highway Rockdale at the rear of Speedway Garage In Harrow road. WAITING since 10 DEC 2018. UPDATE. Call from Skylight asking to remove this review, 1200 hours 21 January to be continued. As of today the installation is incomplete there has also been the illegal removale of funds from a credit card account. Comment from Sky light I have not received any correspondence from you.

The job has been done in a day, i prefer more than 6.6 but they can not installed, anyway, i ve got 4.5 kw when ever you contact them some one there always answered the phone.
