This is the third time I have done Business with Simplay Flooring, and I have been very happy with every transaction with them. I have installed Hermitage Pro Oak Engineered flooring in both levels in my house, and had to replace my ground floor due to flood damage in the December 2021 storms. The quality of the product is outstanding and the flooring itself is beautiful and hard wearing. The price was also good compared to other suppliers of high end engineered flooring. I thought about installing a solid wood floor, but the preparation time and expense put me off. This was a cheaper option by far. I am so glad I didn't install a hard floor as replacing it after a flood would have been much more difficult, and more expensive.

Lincoln is a pleasure to do business with. Everything arrived on time, and I feel I got a good price. The delivery guys were also very helpful. I have no hesitation in giving Simplay flooring and Lincoln and five star review, and would highly recommend their services if you are looking for quality flooring at a good price.

The elevator in our apartment complex is broken, during the week of rain in Sydney, the poor installer not only braved the rain but also carried 33+ bags of cement up the stairs (approx 52 steep incline steps) and not to mention the boxes of floor boards, to further add to the challenge they disposed of our old carpets too (ie.taking it downstairs).

Lincoln’s team did a great job replacing our tired tiles with floating floorboards. The whole process was easy from start to finish and communication was always open.

Got a budget laminate floor installed by Simplay Flooring. They finished the project in a 2 bdr apartment in 2 days quickly and promptly over the Christmas break with only a weeks notice.

Recently my wife and I had Lincoln from “Simply flooring” replaced our old worn out carpet with 12 millimeter thick laminate style floorboards in our 2 bedroom unit. I found the whole experience easy and trouble free from beginning to end. The below points are from each step in the process.

Choosing the product

Lincoln took the time to walk through all available different options that would best suit our needs and budgets. His showroom is well set out with lots of options for flooring, skirting boards and blinds. He also made available multiple flooring samples for us to take home to help us choose what would work best for our home and budget. In addition to this, Lincoln made 2 site visits to measure the internal area and speak to our building manager about the requirements set out by the strata to ensure that the floorboards were installed correctly, and inline with the Body Corporate requirement.
(Please note, if you live in a unit, and you don’t comply with the standards set by your Body Corporate. You will have to redo your installation at your own cost) Lincoln assistance in making sure that everything was suitable for installation including speaking with our building manager and providing him with product specifications and samples was a huge help to getting it right the first time.

Installation of floorboards

Lincoln and his installation team were very friendly and worked in with our busy schedule. They cleaned up after themselves and offered advice on how to best clean and maintain the floorboards.

Summary

Our floorboards have now been completely installed and we are really happy with the color and style that Lincoln helped us choose. The experience and service we received from Lincoln and his team was excellent. They are fast, friendly, helpful and professional for these reasons my wife and I would highly recommend Lincoln and his team to friends and family.

We also had the pleasure of dealing with Lincoln with our flooring requirements for upstairs in our home and the staircase.
He is a very professional and honest person who helped me choose our flooring (Karnedean Korlok) which had to be pet safe, explained the differences between our original choices, measured and quoted accurately.
He also gave us much needed advice regarding repair and preparation of the subfloor which was very uneven, and checked it was up to standard. He was very patient waiting for this to be completed, as it took us some time.
His team of installers (Jack and his mate) were likewise very professional and took very good care in all aspects of the installation with good quality workmanship.
We love our new floors- they are warm underfoot and 1000 times better than dusty carpet!
