The Australian outback is beautifully expressed as a work of art. The souvenir shop sells not only silver and stone items, but also Aboriginal art, chocolate, windmill figurines, and more.

It's definitely worth a visit but my experience this latest time I visited wasn't the best.

The lady behind the desk I think might have been having a bad day or was just a little over it, didn't show much enthusiasm when talking me through where to go and what to see in the gallery.

The artists in this gallery are simply incredible, however felt a little tacky with bright neon signs on most of the beautiful paintings that said "10% off for cash! ".

There are also weird little knick knacks thrown in amongst all the legit art. Like plush toy kittens and other animals. I think the gallery experience would be a bit nicer without the tacky souvenirs thrown in between excellent art works.

The big picture is always breath taking.but the fake animals around the sandy dessert take away from the experience a bit. Leave the stuffed goannas and the more realistic animals, but the plushie kangaroos and plastic snakes all through the exhibit could probably be removed

A very special place to see history of silver minting. Plenty of silver jewellery, art pieces, chocolates and brikabrak to buy. The magnificent painting is just breathtaking! A must see to say the least. Entry is very Conservative.

It is interesting looking at the pure size of the painting but otherwise it's a bit touristy. The building itself uses space quite well and the cave like room with different types of stone and the room in which they make stuff was pretty neat.

This is ideal for children however we were quite disappointed. It cost to get in and then it was just a commercial setup. Lots of jewellery for sale and the chocolate factory was actually an unmanned lolly shop. The mural was ok which is why I am giving it 2 stars and not 1. A bit of false advertising in the end.

Loved this place. Went there over 2 days as there is so much to see. All different style of paintings, Sculptures, jewellery, nick nacks, mineral displays plus home of the world's largest acrylic painting of outback Australia on canvas (100 x 12m). Also has a small chocolate factory with chocolates, fudge and old English Lollies. The place is also Pet friendly. We could walk through both days with our little dog which is a huge bonus for us. Certainly would recommend this place for a look. Make sure you allow plenty on time as there is so much to take in. Staff is also very friendly.

This is a real gem. Great lithographs of terrific paintings at really reasonable prices. Jewellery at good prices and some really nice leather pouches, bags etc at great prices too. Lovely glass ware and the huge wall painting is amazing. The video is a great summary of Broken Hill. Go here first and watch the video as it gives you a great overview of the area and its history. Worth the entry fee to see video and the painting. The painting of the sculptures makes them look better than they really are!

This place is amazing. Apart from the
jewelry, chocolate art etc in the front section, the 100 yards long painting and display is really something unique.
Well worth the time to take it all in. The Rocky road chocolate was delectable.
Top stop.

Fantastic painting and some great artwork for sale, however there is so much junky jewley and terible souvenirs. If they they would just get rid if it, it would be very nice.
