I would thoroughly recommend Shire Skylights, from the inquiry about a quote, the recommendations, advice and communication prior to installation was excellent. On the day Ben and his team were great, outstanding protection of areas, quick efficent and high quality workmanship, along with sub contracted electrics (Rob) and painting (Darren) all created a beautiful skylight in our kitchen. Clean up and follow up were also well executed. Very happy customer.

The person who came to do the quote seemed knowledgeable and professional. However when he was in our roof cavity he damaged some wiring and the lights in the back half of the house went out (I didn’t notice until after he had left). When I rang up to see what they could do to help fix the problem I was told there was nothing they could do, and that they wouldn’t pay to fix it, even if I could demonstrate that they caused it. I had to pay for an emergency electrician to come and fix it. It was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience. The damage itself was kind of understandable - the wiring was old - but the rude and unprofessional response I got when I raised the issue was not. Also I never got a quote.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Chris's vision for what would look best in our roof and allow the most light in made for an awesome job. Many other companies that looked at the job quoted higher for a cheaper finish. Architrave instead of quality square set finish. On time clean and always there for me to ask questions.

Chris and his team are amazing! I have no idea what’s involved with installing a skylight but know it’s difficult and it’s just amazing that he organised everything and the finished product is perfect. We’ve had crazy rains and hail and it’s still like new. He knew exactly what would work for us (we live in a top floor apartment). He wasn’t the cheapest but you get what you pay for and when it comes to cutting a hole in the roof you want it done right. Install day came and he managed the mess and his staff in a professional manner. No need to shop around, this guy is the real deal. Thanks again mate.

Representative failed to show up for two appointments and didn't bother to call me re either. The office phone just doesn't get answered and there is no voice mail.
I went to the office during office hours to try and get answers and it was closed.
Useless customer service and would recommend that you don't even bother trying to contact them. This was potentially a 20+ skylight opportunity. I had to give them 1 star otherwise I couldn't post.

Very impressed with the work Chris and his team completed installing 2 skylights in our home. The team were professional, clean and the results are great. Communication was great. Would highly recommend.
