Shire Skylight

We can't speak highly enough about Mikaela at Shire Skylights. Wow! I spoke to her on the phone and explained we live on the Mid North Coast of NSW but wanted to order 5 x Velux skylights as our roofers were reluctant to organise the transport from Sydney. She quoted promptly, efficiently AND competitively (including freight). Mikaela kept us in the loop, noted that we couldn't receive a delivery before mid-October and then dispatched our order without a hitch. Fantastic service, we're very impressed.

Fabulous company to deal with. The whole Team exceeded all my expectations when they closed up an old skylight, replaced another one and installed 2 new Velux skylights.

These guys did an excellent job for us. They were super easy to deal with, organise and kept us informed on what was next. We love our finished Skylights!

I recently bought 2 windows from Shire Skylight for a project, but I was disappointed with the delay in their delivery. Despite the initial timeline given to me, the project was delayed by several weeks, which caused inconvenience and frustration. While the final result was satisfactory, the delay in their service was a significant inconvenience for me. I hope they can improve their project management and communication to ensure timely completion of future projects

We just had skylights installed in two bathrooms. What an incredible transformation. We now have natural light and airflow. The team at Shire Skylights were so professional and made the whole process of installation stress free. A huge thank you to Ben, Chase, Zach and Chris. What a great team. I was happy to have found a company willing to attend and I am quite satisfied with 2 replacement Velux skylights from Shire Skylights, August 2022. Nicely mannered and accommodating staff and installers. In a sign of the times (blind electronics delay?), there was a gap of three months between quote and install.

At a difficult time in getting material & installers Shire Skylights staff were sensational in quoting, providing advice and meeting deadlines. Wonderful staff who performed a GREAT job!

My installs booked in a couple of weeks, but I'm so impressed with the responsiveness and friendly professionalism in all my dealings with Shire Skylights from first enquiry, to the measure and quote and fitting us in and working around other trades. Best experience by far this year for any service provider we've worked with and we also run our own business - so we deal with both personal and professional service companies. The installers from shire skylights are very professional and easy to communicate with. I have had 3 skylights supplied and installed by them on 3 different occasions and each time the workmanship has been excellent. Highly recommend.

I wanted to install a large skylight which meant cutting some truss beams. Whilst other installers tried to steer me away from my dreams, the team from Shire skylights came out, measured and checked the roof and determined the best way forward to address my roof struts and beams and installed the Skylight in 1 day!

Well after reading previous reviews I would have thought I'd get some amazing service. Unfortunately I didn't. I initially tried the website, I did find the skylight, "however there was no drop down to add the cost of the flashing". So I submitted a form for a quote with the details needed to get a skylight with a flashing. Long story short, 6 hours later to include I think 2 replies, I was advised "Everything is available on our website with our best pricing, if you need a hand then let me know. ". Called to complain and no call back.anyway it is what it is.

I got what I needed from a competitor, Velux SkyL with flashing for $408 all within 1 enquiry and spending less then 5min overall with an invoice issued ready to buy. Yes my day ended well.
