If I'm honest, my only regret is not contracting Frank sooner. I was a first home buyer who was looking for an apartment in the eastern suburbs. I came with quite particular spec requirements and a strict budget; I had been looking for a while and was getting stressed with the home owner searching process. A friend then recommended Frank - she had used his BA services a few times and only had a glowing endorsement.

I must say, I am still in disbelief that he managed to secure me my dream apartment, in a location I never would've dreamed of owning in, promptly and under budget. Frank was professional, methodical, transparent, generous with his time and a clear expert in not only the property market, but also in strata and construction which was a nice surprise that I found incredibly helpful. I’m an architect and first home buyer who was looking for an apartment in the eastern suburbs close to the beach.

Hiring Frank was money very well spent (and money saved in the bigger picture). I’m genuinely grateful to him for finding a wonderful apartment, which is why I am writing this review. It was the stand-out in my price range and it ticked more boxes than I thought was possible given my budget limit. It feels like a perfect apartment for an architect. He negotiated a very good price for it as well, even in the context of the falling market at the moment. Frank is able to be intuitive and strategic simultaneously, which I think is the right combo for a buyers agent.

A very fatigued real estate buyer I reluctantly settled on the idea of yet another buyers agent after unsuccessfully trying 3 different buyers agents before Frank. Frank stood himself apart in our mutual interview by his lack of hyperbole and showmanship and a genuine desire to determine if we would be a good fit. I had been out of the market for 4 years travelling and working professionally and had failed to purchase both remotely and in person. Frank very quickly helped me understand where the market was really positioned, removing the smoke and mirrors and the consistent underquoting tactics of 90% of agents. In a few short weeks we identified my options in the east and Frank helped me understand the conviction and haste with which I would need to move to effectively purchase. Whilst I had hoped Frank would identify a property 'off-market' that I would ultimately purchase, he did offer me a number that had either not yet gone to market or agents were looking for quick discrete sales for. We ultimately bought an on-market property that i brought to the table but without Frank's existing strong and intimate relationship with this particular selling agent I am confident I would not have been the successful purchaser. We purchased pre-auction after only two opens from a vendor who was actually committed to going to Auction. Frank positioned us in a way to make this possible. Frank does not need an Armani suit, a 911 and a Rolex, his repeat business is testimony to his success. Nor is he vying for the next spot on a cheesy reality real estate series. No, he didn't bring me a scented candle or bottle of champagne when i moved in but he did get me a property with great amenity in a premium location. A buyers agent commission was a hurdle for me and I am sure for many others, but it was ultimately the difference between having and not having. That commission has been amply absorbed by capital growth this year already. Frank is a salt of the earth, hard working and principled man. That last adjective is in short supply in the real estate world so I would not hesitate to recommend you have Frank help you secure a property in the melee that is Sydney Real Estate.

I recently embarked on the process of buying a property.
I didn't think twice before engaging Frank Russo to represent me as my Buyers Agent after knowing him personally for several years.
In a strong market with limited supply, Frank introduced me to several properties that were not advertised to the market, that I would not get the opportunity to view if I were not working with him.
With properties selling so quickly, I found the buying process a stressful one, however with Frank in my corner, was soon put at ease with his calm, professional approach.
When we found the right property, I had to let go and leave it in Frank's capable hands. If it wasn't for Franks professionalism, calm approach and fantastic negotiation skills, the outcome would have been very different.
