I have used the team at Sam’s Automotive for years, they have looked after all of my vehicles from scheduled services, general maintenance, and tyres they have always been honest and very easy to deal with. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good mechanic in the Five Dock area

Went to get some services completed for my Nissan 350z. Dealt with Fred, very knowledgeable, professional and a treat to deal with. He answered any questions that I had, would definitely come back and recommend any family or friends.

Sams automatice is a well organised workshop with small but friendly staff will help, to not standing around like many workshop l've been in the past. Then when they finally get around to you they seem to find a reason to not have the notion or ability to look at the issue you rang about 2 days earlier. I recently got my license and booked in for a thorough service of my car for the first time at Sams Automotive. The team was so helpful and professional. They made the process extremely easy for me and took away my anxieties of dealing with mechanics. Ladies, if your feeling nervous about taking your car to a mechanic and worried they will rip you off - these guys are honestly the BEST in town. I won’t go anywhere else! I bought car toyota corolla 2016 which is serviced by sam's automotive and my mechanic told me "Its look like never serviced".

I’ve taken my highly modified nissan patrol to Fred’s shop to get back on the road due to a red slip after being pulled over and after the countless phone calls and going into Fred’s shop most afternoons Fred has become a very good friend of mine through being very welcoming showing me how and what he’s doing to my car in person and making sure I know everything that’s going on, I’m excited to get my car back then hand it straight back to him to start doing performance modification and having some fun with the car, all in all a very great guy and a great team of people who work there highly recommend Fred’s shop, 5 stars from me.

I had just purchased a car and discovered a leak and took it to a mechanic close to home. That mechanic in Ashbury seemed disinterested and didn't give me confidence at all.

When I looked through the service records, I saw Sam's Automotive in Five Dock had previously worked on the car. I dropped my car in on Monday afternoon and Fred, the mechanic immediately identified the problem, explained to me what exactly needed to be done and exactly how he was going to do it. WOW! (Not many guys like to explain technical things to girls) He explained how he wanted to put it up on the hoist to be absolutely thorough and would get back to me next day with the exact pricing.

True to his word, next morning, we agreed on the price and the work was done by that afternoon.
Fred actually went above and beyond because he checked everything else as well (brakes, steering, pads, hoses, ball joints, EVERYTHING!)

His workshop is clean and tidy, and he shows great pride in his work, and judging by the other cars in the workshop, I think others must feel trust in him too.

Fred and A-K were easy to talk to, friendly and accommodating (I got a lift home after I dropped off car)

I now feel 100% safe in my car and have found a mechanic for the future.

I would highly recommend Sam's Automotive, even just to see how he compares with the mechanic you're using now!

I have been using Sams automative for a few years now and very happy with service and pricing is very reasonable. I just had my car serviced last week with same day completion. I have no issue in recommending this mechanic.

Sams Automotive did service on Saturday farid check my car and he told me you need to replace this all and i agree with him and he help me a lot to find parts because nobody open on saturday and he did few calls and he arrange all things for me even he gave good dicount to me really friendly and helpful team. Sam’s Automotive is the best mechanic workshop I’ve ever been to. His dedication to getting the work done as fast and efficient as possible makes his business stand out amongst the rest. The workers attitude and values are seen as soon as you walk through the door as they are polite and will not leave you without a smile on your face.

Just bought a car which had a service here dated on 28 Jan 2021. However, my mechanic checked the engine oil color just black as hell. Refer to photo, I wonder why is just 500kms away (2 weeks ago) since the service and maintenance but the car is hell like a year didn't do the service.

Sams Automotive was doing service for last couple of years of my Audi Q7 i never get problem on road. Last week there is minor leak in air hose i go around other mechanics for the problem but no one finds it but yesterday farid was doing service of my car and he got the problem straight away and he fix it.
