Excellent experience at the club but food could be oily at times especially with the social kitchen. Swim school is great and fitness gym is great as well. Parking facilities are awesome and second to none.

We visited for the first time and the portion was generous and tasty.
The chips was the best!
If you buys chips, you get a burger

They used to have amazing food there but I think they've changed hands in the kitchen and it's terrible now

Beautiful place to come down on any given day to have amazing food, which consists of specials throughout the week.

The service to second to none, from the reception to the dining area to the bar and pokies.

Very appreciated of their service.

The pokies do pay btw!

Went to the social kitchen today for lunch (10/03/22) Ordered the Ceasar Salad. It was presented with lots of lettuce, some stale croutons, which I could not get my fork through, a boiled egg cut in half a small amount of cheese and hardly any bacon (although they may have been bacon bits out of a jar). Very disappointing for the price that was charged. Will not order this again

Dined in at the social kitchen here. Firstly this place is definitely a upgrade compared to the former palm court bistro in the RELC.

The dishes are presented beautifully and delicious. Except for the barramundi, it wasn't that nice compare to the others.

Great place for a family function. You can now reserve a special area since the bistro was revamped.

Today around 13.30pm (Sunday 5th 2021), I arrived at your venue to perform at a Homeless Fund-raising event.
I was greeted at front by a young staff member who I showed a picture of my Doctor Fully Vaccinated note. He asked for the actual certificate and before I pulled it out of my bag, he was already inside informing the floor manager Johnathan. Once inside, I showed him the certificate which was met with a not allowed. As a performer, I’ve performed at your venue a few times and have always love the customer service.
But here is the problem. I did not have the myGov app because my phone is not updated plus on the myGov site, it stated you can also carry your doctors certificate. I’ve been showing the DR certificate at all venues I performed at and had no problems as I get on stage, do the show and leave.
When asked Manager to explain why your club does not accept doctors certificate, he said your club only follows health orders but not government approved orders. And as the conversation escalate, he then said that because ‘I’ve been difficult, he would not let me in’.
Adding salt to the wound, he said my Centennial Park Doctor certificate is not accepted. Well, my Dr is in Bondi Junction. I live in centennial park. This means he clearly read where I live instead of reading the Letter Head of my doctors address.
So question is, was I been profiling because of where I live?
And if I was extra nice, would he have let me in with my Dr certificate?
So with that done, I left with the intention of coming outside, calm down, upload the myGov app and get the certificate. Unfortunately Mr Johnathan, followed me all the way outside on the street like I was a criminal still trying to prove his ignorance. This is a public place I was already on yet your manager still tried to prove a point. That is completely wrong and as an Islander on the street, I felt humiliated and picked on. He should have stayed inside the club instead.
The covid and government restrictions are very complicated and of course it can cause  conflicts between customers and venues. I also worked in customer services so I always kept my professionalism under pressure.
However, I decided not to upload the myGov certificate and not return to your club. I felt unwelcome, uninvited and discriminated against by your manager with a very unprofessional attitude.
To make things worse, I rang your venue straight after seeking advice but got told that Mr Johnathan had a very busy day. So it seems to me I was his last straw.
When I told her that I know people (even the lady who came to front from same event) who are already inside the event who uses doctors certificate, she told me they may have entered through the exit door. Shocking response from your team   Also when I asked on the phone if I can return with the myGov certificate, she told me that’s up to Mr Johnathan if he will let me in.
I was told to come back on the 15th December when everything is open yet I’m a fully vaccinated artist.
So to sum things up, the choice of words your staff use are very poor.
I was booked to perform at a few event at your venue this month but I’ve just rang the clients and cancel my appearance.
I am trying writing this email with professionalism and open minded as I felt very uncomfortable, unwanted and discriminated in front of other guests especially when your manager followed me outside on the footpath still talking to me.
I was not been difficult. I was just arguing a very relevant point. I was not even a threat. Just an artist donating my time for a worthy cause at your venue.

Thank you

The previous menus and foods was sooo much better and yummier then the new menus unfortunately. We tried a few things from the new menus and we found they are not as good as the previous one. I hope they bring back the old menu back!

This place has been very good too us in the past, but it seems there is something new about who is running the dinning hall, the service is very good however the food being made is very poor and made me and my partner feel sick after eating here

We have had Sunday family lunch here over the last 15 years - it was always reasonably priced and great bistro food
We are so disappointed with the very limited new menu. 2 weeks ago I had the pizza, it arrived totally white and uncooked underneath, I sent it back to be cooked a bit longer - it came pretty much the same. Last week I had the vegan burger - it was like a piece of leather, on a dry bun with next to no condiments. Most of the mains are $25-$30. We could here everyone around us complaining.
Guess it’s time to find a new Sunday lunch spot.so disappointed.we really loved the comfortable family friendly environment

Decided to enjoy dinner at the new Social Kitchen tonight! It was busy but still several available tables.
The lady that greeted and seated us at the front was very friendly and approachable.
Waited in line to order food for about 5 minutes. And 25 minutes later the most delicious Buffalo Chicken pizza arrived! It was so GOOD! Excited to try more items from the menu! Compliments to the chef.

Club looks ok but the service at the bistro was so bad we left before enjoying it. Waited more than one hour for a chicken schnitzel and only got our food after standing near the kitchen, refusing to move before the food was served because other tables arriving later were getting their same meal.
What a great example to set by getting your customers making a scene for receiving the service they paid for.

Really good selection of quality food that arrives quickly. Easy parking, friendly staff and nice comfortable interior.

Nice and modern without being ostentatious. You feel like a part of a family or community. The food options are very good. Friday's and weekends there's always some live music.

Why is every other restaurant in West Ryde still open and offering pick up take away during lock down, but not this club? Last lock down they had take away service, not this time, why is that? Also attempted to call the number the club has for the Chinese restaurant to enquire about booking a table for our end of year work dinner, the number is disconnected, a bit odd. Eventually called the clubs phone line and was given some odd reason they aren't doing take away food.

Standards have gone down compared to some time ago. Good Hygiene should be maintained right across the restaurant.

Rude staff member at reception and inconsistent check-in instructions.
When we applied for membership, we were told that we don't have to use the nsw covid check-in anymore as we will be swiping our cards upon entry. So the following week, I queued to swipe only to be told that I need to use the nsw covid check-in because I have kids with me (note that my kids were also with me the week before), but that's fine.
So the next weekend, I used the covid check-in and did not queue for swiping anymore. We went straight to the lift as I have kids with disability with me. The reception staff said out loud, as if addressing the whole room: "People are not following the rules! " and then turned to me to say that I need to queue. I showed him the covid check-in confirmation and my membership card but he just told me that I still need to queue. So we did queue and when it was our turn to swipe, he said that we didn't have to swipe anymore. I'm like, what just happened? !
I would like to reiterate that I was with 2 kids with physical disabilities. One of them uses a rollator to walk. I don't know why he thought it was okay to make them wait in line for nothing.

Why did I still give 3 stars? Well, the swimming instructors and staff at the pool are very nice. My kids like the food at the cafe and customer service is also good so we do enjoy our weekly visit there. But for reception, I would probably give 1 star.
