5 star service! All the staff are lovely, welcoming and professional. My appointment started with a gentle head massage, then consultation with Rumbie, straight in to the hair cut and then an intense treatment. MY HAIR IS SO SOFT! Can't wait to come back on the 3rd to get my colour done. They seem so busy but seem to be getting it done through the power of team work directed by Rumbie herself. Products are great too for my thin wavy hair. Great experience for the start of my curly hair journey

Rumbie and her team are fantastic! Visiting the salon is always such a lovely, relaxing experience, where I can enjoy a cuppa and chill out. In addition to giving great curly cuts, Rumbie gives invaluable advice about caring for curly hair. So glad I discovered Rumbie & Co!

Superb stylists for curly hair and Wonderful hair products. My only negative was the prices.very high

I tried to find a pricelist online and I wish I had asked for one first when I got to the salon.this was the most astronomically expensive haircut I've ever had, and I cant say it was anything extraordinary. $170 for just a cut, $270 for a colour, slapped with a crazy bill at the end, I never knew a haircut could cost so much. The colour was average, really nothing special and Rumbie chopped so much of my hair off after I made it very clear I wanted to keep the length. Rumbie and her team are lovely, but very understaffed and there was a lot of sitting around doing nothing. Overall a shockingly expensive affair for a haircut I could of had anywhere.

Wonderful staff and super friendly environment but unfortunately not the best experience. Apart from a lot of waiting time throughout the whole process just for a restyle, I was super excited for my first curly cut experience but unfortunately walked away hating it. The price is on the expensive side so you would expect and hope it would be worth it. Sadly not a happy customer.

Yesterday was my first time at Rumbie and Co and I was quite anxious as my previous haircuts had been disappointing. But the whole team made me feel at ease as soon as I came in. Zarah did my haircut and I really apprecitated the time she took to listen to what I wanted and the way she talked me through what she was doing. Their new staff member did the hydration treatment for my hair and she also explained everything very well. I learnt a lot about how to take
care for my hair at home. It was by far the best experience I hever had in a salon and one of the best haircuts!

I had the best curly cut and style of my life with Zarah and can’t recommend everyone at Rumbie and Co.enough! They spent hours with me teaching me exactly how to care for my curls at home, explaining every step of the way and making me feel super comfortable and confident with my new cut. Have already told all my curly/wavy hair friends and family about then and can’t wait to be back!

I have struggled to find a stylist who can cut curly hair for years, and I am so glad to have found Rumbie and Co. My curls have never been this curly or healthy, and i have gotten so many compliments on it. Ive even been able to style it myself after leaving the salon as Rumbie and the team took the time to explain to me how to care for my hair and why different techniques would work for me specifically. A great cut, and more than that, a great overall experience. Thankyou Rumbie and Co!

This place is so annoying, just called in the salon to book an appointment.
Omg, it goes to a random Philippines call center and the person on the phone has no idea about any of services product or is not a hair dresser itself. As I’m thinking of a treatment with investment of money, time and not to forget my hair is involved it will be comfortable to talk to the hair dressers. I have never seen a salon outsourcing their calls because the outsourced person can’t understand the question and is pretty coded/scripted in question. Like I’m asking the product used (10mins into the call) her reply was “ are you a new customer? ”
The customer agent was Gwen.
The salon has no appointment till next month, and also I believe they rank/brand themselves too high in front of their customers- well the truth is Customer is what brings u business and money into ur till. So treat them with deserved respect!

Best salon for curly/afro hair textures - highly recommend!
Treatments can take a while but is most definitely worth it in my opinion since it brings out awesome results. Not forgetting all the stylists are wonderful at their craft and super friendly.

So so happy with my experience. It's a different hair experience than just a regular cut. It takes longer but it's so worth it. I left knowing how to maintain my curls and keep myself looking good. I'm so grateful for my experience and I will be back.

OMG Rumbie and Co is seriously the best curl specialist hair salon in Sydney! Zarah did an incredible job doing blonde balayage on my dark brown hair and it looks incredible. Lexie did an amazing job styling diffusing and defining my curls. Both girls were extremely sweet, friendly and welcoming. Such a clean and professional environment. Wouldn’t go to another curly hair specialist

Horrible salon experience.
Waited months to get extensions done, went to the consultation. They had initially called to push my appointment back, then when I arrived there, sat there waiting for nearly 45 minutes. I left with more questions then i came in with because that's how unclear and disorganized it was. Felt like it was a lot of false promises. When I called to recheck my actual appointment, everyone was giving me different answers. Cannot explain how extremely unorganized this was. It was beyond frustrating and disappointing especially after waiting so long. There is a serious lack of communication and professionalism.
In the end, I had 0 confidence that they could do what they had promised and just cancelled the appointment. Was not looking forward to spending over $600 and making a commitment with anyone that showed such little promise and dedication to their clients.

Great place for people with curls (guys or girls) to get advice and cut from people that really know hair. Rumbie and Zara are very friendly and take the time to guide you through all the steps required to keep your hair healthy and stylish between cuts.

I've called nearly 20 times today to enquire and not once has it been answered. UPDATE: THEY answered and asked me to hold.for over 20 minutes without anyone addressing anything.such ashame as I do indeed need professional braiding, and help maintaining my curls (relatively new to area) and this salon seemed perfect.they're website and pictures seem professional and they seem like they know what their doing but as for the customer service of their phones handling and how they address clients needs to be looked into.especially for a hair salon
