We recently had our renovation completed by Ross Mark Pty Ltd and we are very happy the outcome. From our very first meeting with Peter, the Project Manager, we knew we had picked the right company for the job. Our ideas and wishes were carefully listened to, and with Peter's knowledge and professionalism, along with the design team, we ended up with a plan that we were very happy with.

At the time of construction, we met the very affable Glen whose attention to detail, along with the excellent tradesmen and contractors, meant that our build was of the highest standard. We were always kept up to date by Peter and Glen on the status of our renovation.

We are very pleased with the outcome of our renovation and would highly recommend Ross Mark Pty Ltd.

A professional and knowledgeable team, they helped turn our renovation ideas into 3D drawings, then into reality to create our new home. Their deep knowledge of the local council ensured DA plans were processed in a timely manner.

I really like that Rossmark have good designs and really liked many of their previous projects and how my renovation turned out. Finish is great with good attention to detail, and as an asthmatic living in the house throughout the build, I really appreciated how clean and tidy they kept my home during the 6 months period, minimising dust as much as possible. Where an issue arose, it was dealt with quickly and properly.

Staff on site were also kind to my pet fish and my kids which made the whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommend Rossmark to anyone considering an extention/signiciant renovation in the Shire.

Rossmark was our builder who fully renovated our 3-bedroom house in Illawong that was built in the 70s.
Since we knew we would be staying in Wollongong (close to work) during this renovation, we needed a reliable builder to look after this project when we were more than an hour drive away.

In our first meeting with Rossmark, we explained our general requirements - a house with low maintenance with a simple clean design. Matt then shared some conceptual ideas and modifications that could be made in a cost effective way. He also explained to us the project stages and a clear defined step-by-step approach. This gave us the confidence that Rossmark was a professional builder with a lot of experience in renovation.

During the design phase, Jeff and Rebecca prepared professional engineering drawings to capture the scope of work. I simply marked up the drawings and share my ideas with the design team. The design team also provided feedbacks on what could be done in cost effective ways.

Selection phase was smooth and exciting. Rossmark provided a selection sheet with a clear budget, with a list of recommended local suppliers attached to it. The suppliers were all very helpful and they worked closely with Rossmark to make sure orders were placed correctly.

Throughout the construction phase, Glen and Peter maintained an actively communication with me to make sure I was up to date with the latest status of the project. We had a weekly on-site meeting every Wednesday. Glen also gave me a weekly update over the phone every Friday.

Although this project was carried out during COVID-19, Rossmark managed the impact the pandemic very well. The site was kept in a neat and tidy condition. Hand sanitisers were provided and health policies were clearly displayed.

Construction started in October 2019 and completed in May 2020. This involved the addition of 2 bedrooms. Fully renovated a kitchen and 3 bathrooms. Replaced all the carpets with timber flooring. Landscaping was also carried out, so that the garden can be easier to maintain.

I am very impressed by the professionalism of Rossmark. If you're considering renovating a house with a hassle-free experience. Rossmark is highly recommended.

This was our second time building with Rossmark, our second story was finished 4 years ago and we came back to complete our rumpus and backyard. We had a messy, unused room that we wanted transformed to an area the kids could grow up in and flow into the backyard. Our backyard and pool area was dark and had no privacy. We asked Rossmark to create an area that felt like a resort that could give us privacy as well as an area to entertain. We absolutely love the result and finally have a space that we love to use and that we cannot get the kids out of! We highly recommend Rossmark for their professionalism and amazing finishes. If we ever go for a third renovation we would use Rossmark again!

After deliberating for what seemed to be an eternity (about a year and a half) we finally built the house of our dreams. We did our due diligence obtaining several quotes for our extension from a handful of other builders starting from Rossmark and of course happily ending up with them.
From the moment we spoke to Peter Hamilton his professionalism, knowledge and understanding of our needs were exemplary.
My wife and I had absolutely no idea about building but Peter explained the it patiently step by step making the daunting process of renovating not as bad as we thought.
Everyone involved at Rossmark are an absolute pleasure to deal with.
As the build progressed all the tradesman were very professional, punctual and friendly. At the end of each week Glen (the project manager) would ring us outlining the work performed and the schedule for the following week. He would also ask us if there were any issues we would like to raise. If there was (it was very rare) there was never any problems in them being addressed no matter how minor they were.
Overall we are absolutely delighted in the final build it has exceeded our expectations and therefore we would have no hesitation in recommending anybody thinking of renovating.

We agonised over what to do with our house for years - we knew what we wanted to achieve, but no idea how to do it due to challenges with the existing floor plan.   From the first time we spoke to Peter, and heard his ideas, we knew that Rossmark was the team to build with. From the concept design phase right through to the final build, the whole Rossmark team were professional, highly skilled and easy to work with. Glen managed the build process efficiently and kept us informed every step of the way. The timetable was highly organised and the trades were well-coordinated, which meant there were no delays. They worked around us and our lifestyle, rather than the other way around. We were able to live in the house the whole time (even with a toddler and a dog to manage, it was fine). We are very happy with the final outcome and look forward to working with Rossmark again in a few years as we tackle Stage 2!

Rossmark made our first foray into renovating a seamless, straightforward and enjoyable process. We truly could not be happier with the end-result!

Our project scope was large, involving significant structural changes to a heritage home and considerable negotiations with council to seek approval for final plans. Rossmark managed each step of the process impeccably; from concept design, construction and final hand-over.

Matt, Peter, Glen and Ben were wonderful to work with and kept us informed and consulted on a weekly basis throughout the build, alleviating concerns for us as first-time renovators. Late last year we noticed some cracking in our elevated garden which is between 3 and 7 metres above ground level as the house is built on the side of a hill.
I emailed Matthew at 9: 30 am, he was on site by 10: 30 am to evaluate the problem. Within days we had scaffolding up, meetings with an engineer, fresh design concepts from Matthew and Glenn. At no time was there any question or resistance to rectifying the problem,
A few days later the structure was demolished, over the coming month there was new render, plumbing, landscaping, painting and finally new glass fencing.
Unfortunately, the build extended over the Christmas period. This was obviously out of Rossmark’s control and they informed us from the beginning that this would be the case.
We are once again happy to recommend Rossmark for your construction needs not only for the building expertise but also for the project management. Rossmark are strong communicators and you are always in the loop. We are happy to discuss our build or “show off” our home to potential Rossmark customers.

Matt Earl and his team gave us our dream home. They worked hard to convert our humble 1950s cottage to an American colonial revival style house. Matt’s patience, attention to detail, creative problem-solving combined with his top quality and very experienced team turned our vision into reality at a reasonable, value for money cost.

I first found out about Rossmark by talking to neighbours in the street that had done work by them. I was surprised by how enthusiastically they spoke of Rossmark and how much they loved their new house. Their renovation involved extended and tricky negotiations with the council because of the heritage protection order for our area and Matt negotiated very effectively on behalf of his clients. Above all, Matt and his staff were very nice people to deal with. I decided that this was the kind of business I wanted to do our renovation.

Matt worked patiently with us for 18 months, developing a floor plan that met the needs of our whole family - then we began building. Our renovation was demanding and difficult because there were many American heritage features that were time-consuming to plan and install such as tessellated floor tiles, extensive wood trim and panelling, pedestal bathroom sinks, the claw-footed bath, custom built cabinetry, a heritage ceramic kitchen sink and detailed cornices. The creative and stylish design that Matt developed paid off enormously as we feel like we are on holidays when we are at home and the design has encouraged our family to interact a lot more. Thank you so much Rossmark for giving us what money can’t buy!

The house is holding up very well in the 12 years since this renovation was completed because of the quality of the workmanship. Matt continues to provide advice on maintaining our house by giving us ideas and the contact details of reliable contractors. We have been extremely happy with Matthew and Rebecca from Rossmark. We have just completed our Concept Design and absolutely love it. Amazing team and easy process from beginning to end. Designed and built a Cabana that compliments our existing house and improved our landscaping to maximise the use and value of our home.

We engaged Rossmark Homes to design and build a new deck to the rear of our home, landscape the backyard and pool as well as replace our existing roof with a new colorbond roof. The team were great to work with and very responsive to our needs and availability. We are so happy with the result and are looking forward to utilising the new outdoor areas now it is finished.
