Robinson Strata Management

I have been working with Jana Antelmann from Robinson Strata Management for over 18 months now. Jana is professional and helpful regarding all our Strata issues. I would definitely recommend her to anyone seeking a Strata Manager.

We have Kristina as our strata manager who is frankly appalling. There were unresolved leaks in the building which caused substantial damage to a number of apartments and remains unresolved. To make matters worse, I have now also experienced flooding in my apartment - 3 times in one week and Kristina hasn't even responded to emails or calls setting out that she has organised any solution. Further, even the plumber cites significant frustration in working with her, saying that she notifies him late in thehe day resulting in trying to resolve the issues at night in the dark. Unworkable.
It appears that Kristina is just particularly bad and there are other managers who are good who work here. It would be a dream come true if we could be allocated one of the other managers. I mean the damage to the building and the resulting work is now substantial. My neighbour has gone 8 months without a shower door because nothing gets done or acted upon. For those of us who have to live there and who own the properties, it is a nightmare having such a poor manager. It affects property values and strata rates.

I have worked with a lot of strata agencies over the years and can confidently say Robinson Strata Management are one of the best. Our strata manager, Jackie Pickton, is fabulous. She is always on the ball and follows up everything until completion.

We are one of 5 owners in a small apartment block, on the Northern Beaches. With only 5 levy contributions per quarter, our funds do not go far. Andrew has been amazing in assisting us with cost effective ways to make our funds go further. The in- house politics at AGM's, as in most strata block meetings, has its moments in accommodating our difference of opinions. Andrew's professionalism, patience and knowledge of the industry has helped us smooth out these misunderstandings.

Our strata is in the Manly area of Sydney and we have been managed by Robinson Strata Managment for a number of years. My role is treasurer and secretary of the Strata committee and our committee has been working closely mainly with strata manager Lena over the last 5 or so years.

Lena is an experienced professional and we are very pleased to be working together with her. Lena is prompt and responsive at all times and offers knowledge based guidance when appropriate.

Lena is easy to work with and has a strong practical understanding of the regulatory and compliance issues. This has proven most valuable to us on a number of occasions, given increasing affect of compliance issues on stratas today. She is able to offer or refer us to clear and objective advice which is in the best interest of our strata, both short and longer term.

Robinson Strata management have our financial information available in a readily accessible and clear format on the Robinson website, which we can access through their security system.

Another benefit we gain with Robinson is access to their extensive selection of approved and validated suppliers (including trades and engineering, maintenance, cleaning, insurance, legal and other services). We utilise these suppliers for major projects and for regular strata maintenance/cleaning, etc. We find the personnel reliable and this method of identifying plus working with suppliers effective. Projects have included a number of rectification plus plumbing work and other repairs, achieving cost effective and quality outcomes.

We are pleased with the service and support we receive from Robinson Strata. We greatly appreciate Lena's efforts in particular; she is positive, knowledgeable, prompt and friendly.

The (small) building in which my strata unit is located has been managed by Robinsons for many years now (so long I have lost count). They have always provided very good professional service, support and advice, with quick responses and excellent communication. Robinsons’ support gives owners a high level of confidence in dealing with any issues that arise. AGMs are well organised, chaired and documented. I recommend them unreservedly.

Charlotte Duff looks after our building and is professional and reliable. Whenever we have had any issues Charlotte is quick to respond with a minimum of fuss.

Disappointing. In all dealing with our strata manager, she has been slow to respond, take action or follow up on requests. Furthermore, her conduct is extremely unprofessional, lazy and generally unpleasant.

I am highly disappointed with the service and would not recommend Robinson Strata Management based on the behaviour of this strata manager.

Quite possibly the worst customer service I've ever experienced, if I could give minus 5 stars I would.

Expensive, lazy and incompetent staff and irresponsible and disrespectful. Seems like they define the cliche "ignorance is bliss".

Lena is very experienced, always most professional, easy to work with, prompt in all matters and an excellent all round strata manager.

Lena represents ‘good value’ to our strata, is positive and friendly, we are pleased to work together with her.

Further, financial information for our strata is readily accessible on the Robinson website in a clear format. Robinson also offer an extensive cross section of approved suppliers with validated insurance and certifications including trades, engineering, maintenance, cleaning, legal and compliance personnel. We utilise these suppliers for major projects and also for our regular strata maintenance plus cleaning. We find the personnel reliable and this method of identifying plus working with suppliers efficient and effective.

For example, we have carried out extensive rectification works in recent years utilising trades and engineering personnel available through Lena at Robinson with cost effective, quality results.

We are very pleased with the service and support we receive from Robinson Strata and from Lena in particular.

Angela Carruthers at Robinson Strata has helped us with our strata issues over many years. Issues are handled in a polite and professional manner. Correspondence is dealt with quickly and laws communicated clearly. I have very much appreciated her help going forward with all our projects.

I have been dealing with Robinsons for over 5 years and specifically Ben Pattinson over the last 3 or more. In this time i have found Ben to be professional and helpful each time i have needed to call him. He has always been able to solve any problems i have and as a owner who does not live in the property it is so important to have good communication and responses from the Strata Management. If any one asked i would have no problems in recommending Ben as a property manager.

Ben Pattinson, our building's strata manager has always been responsive, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. He's has excellent knowledge of strata laws and has gone out of his way to assist in the running of the strata building and the capital works we have had to perform.

Not impressed with Robinson. Owner for 17 years - however Robinson Management saying have no record of my ownership. Took 4 attempts for Robinson Strata to issue correct strata levies to owners. Water ingress damage to my property due to issues with common property maintenance.

Fobbed off repeatedly by Robinson Strata Management over water flooding damaged caused to my unit due to defective common property drainage maintenance.

Supremely unhelpful and rude in all dealings. Extremely unprofessional, bullying and unpleasant behaviour. Un-Australian! Have withheld important information and money. Curiously still in business. Somebody please direct them to the yoga studio down the road and get them on the path to being better beings!
