If renting, record every conversation you have with this agency. The real estate office explicitly lied to us in their effort to hamstring the operability of external blinds which have an important privacy function in this neighbourhood. They explicitly said our external blinds would not be changed if we provided access - that was a lie. They claim it's a 'miscommunication' but we specifically asked several times if our blinds would be impacted if we provided access - we were very clear about our concerrns - they lied and said our blinds would not be impacted and access was only required because 'our remote was controlling the neighbour's blinds. ' That is a very detailed and specific excuse that wasn't accurate - their sole intention was to limit the operability of our blinds to hypothetically save the owner a couple of bucks in 10 years time. The Development Application for this development was approved on the basis of functiong external blinds to deal with privacy concerns and a 0m setback to the laneway. We agreed to live here on the basis of functioning external blinds. The fact we were lied to by R&W Alexandria & Waterloo - with a detailed false narrative - is reprehensible.

Mark Dawes at Richardson and Wrench Alexandria Waterloo, leads a team that provides impeccable advice and service. They recently sold our investment unit at Waterloo. Mark advised us on all aspects of refurbishment and his contacts are exceptional. Our unit was carpeted on a Monday morning, styled that afternoon, photographed Tuesday morning and on the market by Wednesday afternoon. The first open day was the following Saturday and a buyer from that viewing made an offer by the following Friday and we exchanged on Monday. It was a whirlwind but Mark and his assistant Caroline Maheu were available with help at every stage. This was our one and only investment property that we had owned for 18 years, so the process of marketing and selling is foreign to us. Our advice is simple. Take Mark’s advice!

Ive been pushing from the old agent that been taking care of us since we move in to this property agent. It just poor of the service value, no professional at all. I do understand with everything is based on black on white, but there is something called common sense. She asked me to clean the exhaust fan that it was so dirty since we move in. She just dont get it the previous tenant been living there for 10 years and compare to us just live there for 11months and 2 weeks. Jesus.
