I am currently a tennent through Rich and Oliva and during this harsh Sydney lock down which includes travel and work restrictions they felt it was acceptable to put my rent up by 10%. This is after being a reliable, clean, tidy and on time rent payer for the last 12 months. I would like to thank Riccardo and the team for their great customer / tennent care. Selling houses is one side of the real estate coin, but looking after your tennents especially during this unprecedented time is another, its times like these that you see the true motivations behind a business. The team at Rich & Oliva always go above and beyond to ensure your needs are met as the client. We have been lucky enough to buy, use them as our leasing agents and now sell one of our properties and every time the transaction has been smooth, efficient with a great result. I am a renter, and only had a good experience when Daniela was looking after my property.

Once she moved on and had Giancarlo handle our issues, there has been little to zero communication. Extremely disappointed with the current service, and the landlord and I basically communicate directly with one another. I had so many issues with the landlord: mould in the home, water damage, and messy contractors. The agency has done nothing to help me. Including now during the final inspection, as David the manager feels like they have no obligation to make things “right”.

As a result of the unresolved issues and the terrible service from this agency, I packed my bags and did not look back. Would not recommend this agent for leasing. All they care about is about their pay check at the end of the day.

Sorry, but communication was not carried out in a timely manner all year round—not just during the holidays. Even the landlord could agree with me on this subject.

Actually, the access was denied after I decided to discontinue my lease. I think any tenant would agree that after mould, water damage that wasn’t resolved in the same area 4 times, plus contractors leaving a mess everywhere and causing home damage after each fix, who would want to grant access?

I could have terminated my lease earlier during Covid, but I had sympathy for the landlords. HENCE, I asked for a reduction to use the home of only STORAGE while I was abroad. At least the owners were able to have some money without needing to look for another tenant (because who would be moving in such a tough time?)

According to the property manager, I left the home in a very good condition. Other than not cleaning a window and the oven enough (common in most inspections). For all the times I cleaned up after the owner’s contractor’s messes, I think it’s fair that I would have a cleaning fee waived—the minimal any customer service could provide.

I responded to every email in a timely manner, unlike your agency.

Best agents in inner west in our opinion. Normally these reviews are from a seller's perspective but we had the pleasure to deal with Marco as a buyer in Ashbury. It was refreshing to see an agent provide accurate price guide for once, so far most other auctions in the inner west that we've been to seem wildly under quoted but Marco gave us genuine estimate, went out of his way to organise a private inspection and been very helpful throughout the buying process. We ended up buying the property and are delighted with the professionalism and customer service provided by this agency. Highly recommended and wish these guys every success in the future

Marco and team are not only extremely professional they are also friendly and very easy to work with. Working together to sell our home they were able to provide a very accurate price guide from the outset which was then exceeded when we went to auction. The marketing material and videos that were produced were of a high quality and they did everything they could to ensure that they reached the largest audience that they could to assist with the sale.

They were very easy to communicate with and I was always kept informed and they made the whole experience as stress free as they could from the very first meeting. Marco took the time to listen to any concerns I had and to address any issues that came up immediately. They have a good set of trades at their disposal and so I found it really helpful that they were able to co-ordinate any work that needed to be done, to ensure that the process of selling the house was as straight forward as possible. I really felt that I was working with Marco as a team to get the best result for our house. I cannot recommend using Marco and Rich and Oliva highly enough - I would not hesitate to sell my next home with them.

Through buying, selling and renting I have dealt with several real estate agencies. Marco and the team at Rich & Oliva are by far the most transparent, friendly, professional and honest agency i have dealt with. Before placing my parents property on the market we did a lot of research into Real Estate agents and discovered through testimonials of recent sales that Marco from Rich and Oliva was definitely the agent we needed to speak to sell your home in Croydon Park. Upon meeting him for an appraisal, he put together a realistic price range for the property and set out a clear and decisive marketing campaign that covered all bases. He also assisted with tradespeople to improve the presentation of the property which helped remarkably in both the appearance of the home and time we spent at the property. Before the campaign began he shared the photography, floor plans and descriptions of the property and then kept us completely informed during the campaign right up until auction day. There was never any pressure placed on us to sell the property and we always felt that he worked in our best interest to achieve a great result and a smooth transparent transaction. We were also quite pleased to see a young couple purchase the property where can start their memories at the home.

From a buyer's perspective, Marco and the team are fantastic. Very transparent and responsive. Helped us out of a real bind related to moving day.

Horrible service after leaving a property and saying it needs painting for 15hrs in a small 2 bedroom house for $94p/h (that must be the best painter in the world) which coincidentally is the full amount of the bond which they want back. Never inspected the property while we were there and pretty easy to understand that they can't rent it out. Returned the bond and now want it back, why did they return it at all. Bad service, no inspection.if you decide to go with them be careful when you leave.

My family recently rented a property through Rich&Oliva which had just come on the market and we contacted Steve the next morning. He was incredibly responsive and we viewed the property that afternoon and had a confirmed lease by 5pm that day. A miracle. The whole team has been great with communication and making the process very easy.

Really great team! They have helped me find accomodation on 5 occasions so far 3 of them I rented through them. Every-time they respond to any maintenance issues immediately! They truly take care of you as family. They have gone far beyond the call during COVID-19 to help me and my landlord find an amicable solution in difficult times. Understanding, compassion and fair acting for both parties I feel in good faith not necessarily things normally said in same sentence as Real estate. Thanks for all the help and continued support.
