Rhodes Waterside reviews
63Ikea trip for a new rug.and this and that and more. Funny you go in for one thing and come out with a trolley load
Good shopping center, several stores and places to go shopping, plus it is a nice and quiet area to walk on the weekend
Nice and convenient specially for those who live close by. However it is small compared to many other shopping centers, you can almost find anything you need.
Love this place. Have everything I need and close to my home. Shops, groceries, cinema, food court and IKEA are there.
Great shops! They have all sorts of cool stuff there and it's very clean and doesn't feel too packed. Good food options, there is also the torture dungeon- Ikea - but if you avoid that it's a great day out
Haven't been here for a while since my wife got assigned to another area for work. There are newer shops and a lot of new places to eat. They have an IKEA store too.
Great shopping Centre. I love all the staff at Paran Hair Design. Great service. Thanks Susan for your wonderful care and beautiful nature.
This shopping center contains many useful stores, Kmart, Commbank, Anz, Coles, IKEA and many more, A new kfc opened up. Food options in the food court are not the best but acceptable.
This is one of the nicer shopping centres in the area. It has plenty of parking, IKEA, movie theatre, Kmart and plenty of unique shops or food options. It's not a large place and has kids play area!
This mall has Ikea, theater, Kmart, food court, Coles, Aldi, Bing lee, Clothing, Hairshop, Coffee, Games and etc. This place is literally essential for everyone around Rhodes.
Start of lockdown version 2. I ordered a table from IKEA for delivery. Only thing was it was going to take nearly four weeks to be delivered. As I’m home schooling my sons I needed the extra desk so that they would be ready to play minecraft and do school work. I couldn’t wait until the end of July. I decided to order and pick up directly from IKEA. I try not to park inside Waterside as getting in and out is like skating on peanut butter. I parked opposite and paid for an hour. Once at the order and pick up I suddenly realised (again!) that I wasn’t the only person in the universe who had opted for the order and pick up. It was packed. We all stood around huffing and puffing in our masks as hundreds of cars spewed forth fumes as they circled the pick up delivery area. I noticed that the car spaces for ‘trailers only’ were taken by cars without trailers. In fact if the three spots two were drivers who simply used that spot for easy access to the centre. There’s no hope for humanity. I waited for about 35 minutes and finally I won my pick up order. Thing was the desk was not bundled together. I had to hold the four legs and the tabletop and walk the 300m or so to my car. That was a pain in the rear (my fault) I just assumed it would have been boxed (Not that I would have done a YouTube unboxed video). So I slowly slugged my way to my car. Poles falling and clanging every three or four steps. The desktop was just a tiny to wide for me to hold it secure under my armpit anchored by my arm. I had to flatten my hand across the top and hold it tight against my side. Stopping every twenty steps to get a grip. You know when a small irritating task has to be done and finally you get to do and that little task suddenly due to laziness, ignorance or plain bad luck turns into a mammoth pain in the backend which requires a bottle of bourbon to recover from. Well this was one of those little tasks.
Nice shopping centre with all the COVID-19 safety measures were in place. The parking is an issue during the peak hour otherwise great shopping centre
Have been going for many years - and have always had a great experience! Has a great selection of restaurants and stores. Mall staff are also very helpful and hospitable.
Would recommend to anyone!
Great place to get a great coffee and a bite to eat. They are ver covid conscious. I was very impressed
Management said they have the largest car park in Sydney. What I experienced is they have the most expensive parking fee in Sydney. Is mirvac and Perron making most of their profit from parking?
Very nice ambience and can get quite crowded on weekends. This is especially with larger housing area with many apartments built in the 3-4 years.
Long waiting time for elevators, double the waiting time with covid restrictions. Elevators should be prioritized to people in need
There is even a children's playing area. This Shopping place is very handy and convenient for the locals and may be those who wish to come from elsewhere to shop, but it is not a tourist area!
Nice place to walk after dinner, place was clean, display in the shops are updated.
But lost a second star for the carpark, it is confusing,
Lost the third star, caused the shopping mall all shoppers in without mask,
Did not use the washroom,
This is my NEW FAVORITE SHOPPING CENTRE! We have a toddler boy and he Love the Free playground kids area "Monkey Bar" this makes it so easy for us to go shopping, we go first there our boy has a good play, while we can buy a coffee or a juice boost that is just next to it, while we have a seat and see our boy playing and after he is tired we can go have a look to the shops, seriously excellent playground is the Best and believe me, I go to all shopping centres and this one has the best Free Playground for kids, the variety of activities on the playground is perfect, is clean, new, well cushioned, has several seats for parents to wait, cafes and juices and food near by, alot of hand sanitisers dispensers and even a covid safe bar to check in, excellent well Done guys, best shopping centre of all now.
