Redfern Park reviews
51 Such beautiful massive trees n I've seen the gardeners planting native grasses instead of what I call 'English Grasses ' you know what I mean short grass that needs more watering than other grasses. I do love having nature close, when living in a concrete world.
From sweet little grondcover miniatures that look like orcids to beautiful trees that are huge. N yes there's plenty of English Grass to play on lie on.
There's gym apparatuses n there's a pool but it's not free.
Beautiful park, lots of shade n seating great kids area, my grandkids love the water features.
Close to shops, cafes n toilet facilities.
Great park for relaxing and reading a book. Close to cafes and buses. There are basketball courts and a skateboard ramps.
This park is beautiful, so much activity is happening around this park. Sports ground, cafe, kids playing area and water pounds etc.
This park is looked after very well by the council. Let me know what you think? Is there any favourite activity?
Always a nice place for a stroll and to gawk at other people beautiful dogs
Also a great place for those walking there dogs to get accidently think someone's staring at them when its actually your dogs.
Great place to stop & chill out at the fountain. Or kick the footy with the kids, or just sit & read. Lovely park.also great for the dogs, as they can jump around in the fountain on hot days! Really enjoyable park to go to! Always love going there.
Love the skate park and the water features.
Looking forward to covid clearing up when we can come down and watch the Rabbitohs training.
Always a good place to visit. Either to take the kids for fun/run around or to take my best mate, my pooch for a run!
Lush, green, full of trees.
Plenty of room to kick a ball, climb on activities, sit and relax.
Easy walk to public transport.
Close to South Sydney Anglican Church Redfern
It's a nice park, it has a calm presence, it's safe it' lights up during the day when the sun's out!
This place is great for dancing in I do a dance class here at night and its always a great vibe with the cool kids watching in the stands and some whacky skateboarders over neer the rampy thing
Great park, lots of people hanging out, very relaxed. Skaters skating, ballers balling, drinkers drinking everyone chill. Great park for a run around with kids, with dogs or some cold tins in the twilight hours.
To me Redfern Park is a meeting place. A beautiful historic park for many people as it has played host to prime ministers, indigenous people, war veterans, local sports teams and weekend speakers. Dotted with historic trees and a recently restored fountain right in its centre. Also a great place to escape for lunch under one of its trees.
Good friendly. Nice relax. Place to meet indigenous Australians. They are the frienliest nicest people. I feel safe here
It's such a beautiful park, dog friendly which gets a two thumbs up from me and my girl. Has numerous bubblers for the furkids, a fountain which my girl just loves swimming in
Heaps of shade from the huge trees and there follage.
It has a kids park as well and heaps of grassed areas perfect for basking in the summer's sun.
Definitely two thumbs up.
The centre of Sydney Town its a great place to be as some people may think it's Ruth but its the attraction about it.
I love it
It's nice to sit and relax, if you want bbq's are there to have hot food, next door is the South Sydney football oval, sometimes you can see the guys training or playing a match
It was great smelling the fresh air and the sweet wind in our hair and walking around the park luv it idea there should be a Pine tree planted in our Redfern park as a christmas tree for the community in coming years wendy
More than enough space to throw a ball for mans best friend, lush clean green grass with shady trees to relax and unwind beneath
