Worst agency for both tenants and owners. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Owners: Don't expect them to have your best interest in mind. I asked for a small reduction in rent (after two years living there and during the pandemic) to match the price of the same apartment next door and the average price in the area. At first they ignored my request and i had to chase it up a few weeks later and they hadn't even spoken to the owner. So i moved out because of their lack of professionalism and now the apartment is advertised for $100 lower than what i was willing to pay and it hasn't even been leased yet, the rental amount just keeps dropping.

Tenants: Such a hassle trying to contact them in relation to getting your bond back, it took them over one month to send an invoice (Which they are overcharging) and then half the time they ignore your emails and don't respond to the questions you ask.

Shout out to David and Francine for their poor service.

The Team at Elders Inner West are first class. I recently need their assistance to solve a rental matter and they attended to it in lightning fashion.

From the response by the office Director, to the adminstration team - the matter was handled professionally and promptly.

Look they are pretty bad. I've had over 6 years of experience with them and it's just a hassle trying to get anyone for help or assistance. Lately i had to call and request the new bank account details for my rent payment, after being promised i would receive the email. Instead of receiving those details, i received a notice to pay my overdue rent. I wish i was making this up.

Joanne Farah is one of the most professional property managers I have ever encountered. She is friendly, always arrives to appointments on time, communicates promptly and is a pleasure to deal with. Thank you!

Up until we wanted to move out, we didn't really have any issues. Once we advised Jerome that we wanted to end the lease, communication from his end was scarce and we continually had to chase him up over and over again. Having rented through 2-3 other agencies in my time, I have never dealt with such an incompetent Property Manager having to forward emails onto other colleagues and finally the actual office before getting an answer. What was most unprofessional was arranging an open house on the day we were moving out without even asking if that was okay with us. I had to push back numerous times before he actually rescheduled it to another day.
I sent a lengthy email through to RW head office who forwarded it onto the owner - basically I was fobbed off with no action being taken with the Property Manager. Renters beware - go somewhere else.

I just want to call out Jerome Liaker and Joanne Farah from Ray Whire for exceptional service and quick action. They are in my view the best agency in Sydney for tenants and landlords. The whole team are really friendly, helpful and act quickly. Their trades people are fantastic. Highly recommend.
