I wish I had read the reviews before going in. The incorrect wait times from the receptionist are true. It’s irresponsible to get the time frame so wrong. I called ahead, asked when we arrived (told 10-15 minutes), asked again an hour later, told 10-15 minutes and we were next.we weren’t. I wasn’t asking because I didn’t want to wait. I’m calculating how much longer I can be away from my breast fed 7 week old. I’m wondering if I should move the car because it’s only an hour spot. I’m wondering if I have time to get my toddler a snack since the 10-15 mins is now over an hour. Even if the receptionist said she didn’t know how long it would be is better than the lies.

Some girls at the reception is very inexperienced, save yourself and go to a clinic that’s not busy.

My mum Denise came yesterday and was so impressed with your surgery. She said the receptionist Grace was so nice and helpful and when she explained the reason she was there she recommended my mum see Dr Carran. Mum said Dr Carranwas so easy to talk to and very approachable. I find most surgeries are usually cold and unapproachable but this surgery was something different. Dr Carran and Grace seem to be an asset to your surgery

If you need a doctor that is compassionate and great at delivery news that will change your life PLEASE do not see Dr. Shahana Afroze. There was no warmth. When I was clearly upset by the news delivered. She questioned why I was upset and when a response was given to her. It was reciprocated with silence, there was no comfort. She likes to be little you by the way she speaks to you. Question you in a patronising way. I do not understand why people with no compassion and empathy chose to be in a profession like this. Seeing her has left me with such a sour taste in my mouth.

The staff at the front desk are hopeless. Many times I have come to this place and it feels like you are forgotten. Today they said 40 minutes and it took 2 hours and 20 minutes! They lost or card, then said it was only one patient. Their excuse was that only one doctor was seeing sick people. A car pulled next to us, the guy the up, went in, 20 minutes later came out and we were still waiting. Excuses about COVID-19, only one doctor.
Management needs to do something. This is not an one off time. It happens all the time they have more than 2 patients in the queue.

My advise, avoid this clinic. If you don't have any choice, call them every 10 minutes if you are waiting in the car park or keep track of your card visually and count how many other patients are there.

From the receptionists, nurses to the doctors the centre is brilliant.

In particular Dr Carran, who I have found to be an extremely, professional, knowledgeable, supportive and empathetic doctor.

With a myarid of health issues, I have complex medical needs, Dr Carran will always take the time to go through all aspects in detail. Consultations are thorough never rushed. I am extremely appreciative for his care and I have absolute faith in his judgement. He has significantly helped in the ongoing management of my chronic health issues. Referrals to good specialized treatments and support has made a huge difference.

With our toddler, going to the doctors was somewhat emotional to say the least, Now under the care, of Dr Carran, trips to the doctors are tearless and calm. Thanks to Dr Carran, we now have a child who is happy to communicate any issues with a doctor. Its made an unmeasureable difference and we are extremely grateful to him and all the other staff at the medical centre.

Yes there are long wait times, but only when I didn't make an appointment. It's great that I can see a GP on the weekend without having to make an appointment, especially if it can't wait till Monday. And all the GPs I've seen on the weekend have been awesome and very knowledgeable, calm and friendly.

Always so accommodating and all the staff are friendly. From receptionists, nurses to doctors. So grateful.

On response back to the centre's reply - Yes, I have been a patient there, once in 2014, and once in 2015. These have been verified by the same management team since - via phone. However, Fiona is my preferred Anglicised name and under Medicare, I still retain my legal name. While I understand that this may cause confusion, please do not cut to the chase and assume that I've never been a patient. That's even more abhorrent.
Please focus on fixing your communication issues on your website. I'm not the issue here, but I appreciate your response nonetheless, though I'd suggest a better response.
This is a truthful post and I will not remove it.

Original post:
PSA: Don't bother messaging them on their website as the practice suggests to do. They won't respond. Go straight to HCCC or AHPRA with a complaint if you feel you've been uncared for by the practice and/or treating doctor/nurse. I personally had a downright abusive consultation session with Dr. Birra back in 2015, and another questionable one a year before that.

Take care with the details, though. For a complaint against a med practitioner, you would need to confirm who and when you saw the practitioner. Just call and ask for the practice manager - the nurse wouldn't give details of the names of their med practitioners, even though it's your visit.

Remember, it's never too late to raise a complaint, even if the doctor's retired. You can pay it forward with potential future practitioner education.

I had seen Dr Chris Roberts off and on for 16 years as he initially presents as personable and caring. No longer. My view now is that he has a Messianic complex combined with a dangerous and severe sense of irresponsibility, cross-cultural insensitivities and prosaic levels of sexual impropriety.

It is of public record that 2 of his patients have died under his ostensible care and that he currently cannot practise without another doctor on-site. Despite his conditional re-registration, I aver that this man remains a danger to public health.

In other matters, the clinic is very bright and clean with plenty of nearby parking.

A fantastic medical centre with a wide range of GPs, specialists and allied health services. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the practice is welcoming, clean and bright. The centre has been servicing the local community for many, many years now, and so has a real nice family-orientated vibe. Would definitely recommend their services.

Not a good place to be. Doctors are not really cooperative. They just say nothing but charge more than other GPs around.

One hour and ten minutes before closing time and they refuse to let me wait to see a doctor. Three people waiting ahead of me.

Hit and Miss. Only use for emergencies. Gp telling a hysterical patient "it's not that big of a deal" gives an insight into the quality of service being offered.

Excellent services, fantastic Drs, especially Dr Carron. He is so professional and genuinely cares about your well being and doesn’t just write a script and shuffle you out, he cares very much!

I visited this Medical Centre needing a blood test done for a work committment, the doctor sent me off to a different company called Douglas Hainly Moor which I willingly obliged. After the tests came back I went in myself for the results and was given a letter with incorrect details which did not relate to what I asked for at all. Two weeks later I recieved a bill for $180 dollars from the Pathologist and was demanded to pay it. I was a medicare patient and student, and never informed of the test costs before sending me of to this private company. Very disappointed with the lack of patient care and communication. They didnt even do a basic check up. I wont be visiting Ramsey street Medical Center ever again. I called multiple times to speak with Doctor Verma, and was repeatedly told to call back when they are available.

Made to wait 2 hrs and 45 minutes for Dr to check my X-ray results. No where near busy enough to justify this.

Just read the review about Dr LoMascolo and want to say that our family has been seeing her since I was in preschool.
Yes, she is busy and almost always runs late, but definitely worth seeing.
She has always been kind and compassionate and has treated us with genuine respect.

I had an appointment at 11: 30am. They kept saying Dr Lomascolo is going to take you soon, and it was 12: 36, she was still not there. I caught a Uber to get there before 11: 30 and waited there more than 1 hour.

UNPROFESSIONAL DISRESPECTFUL RIDICULOUS
