56 Duncan, although very professional, has an easy, friendly manner and is supported by a great team. A seamless, hassle-free sales process of our Newtown apartment.
Duncan and his team could not have been more helpful or efficient. They organised all the work required to get the property ready for sale. Painting, carpeting, new blinds and the final furniture dressing of the entire apartment. The quotes from their trades people were very competitive and we were very satisfied with all the work undertaken.
The property sold quickly during the off-market period and saved us the time and expense of the inspection and auction process. The best sales experience I have ever had. Thank you to all the team - Duncan, Vivienne, Vishnu and Joanna.

Got us to sign a new lease but withheld the fact the property was for sale and there would be weekly inspections through our home for an extended period of time.
Also intentionally ignored us over a fair and legal rent reduction request during covid lockdowns. Issue was eventually settled (through begrudging compromise) in tribunal where neither party (us or R&H) got what we wanted.
Deceitful towards tenants. However, this might be exactly what you want as a landlord. If this is the case, I HIGHLY recommend R&H.

Would not use Raine & Horne ever again. After renting for 20-years, they were the worst agency to deal with. Repairs went unattended too, money was taken from our bank account whilst it was still being disputed and a cleaning fee was taken from our bond at the end of the lease although we were left to live in a mould ridden property and repairs such as water leaking down the walls, tree roots growing through the pipes causing flooding and major subsidence not being dealt with. This agency then painted over the issues and re-rented the property for $900 vs $740. Disgraceful.
Im a tenant who was very silly and in the first week of tenancy, didn't get around to copying the back door key. I locked myself out, in my underwear, with my dog inside. My agent was able to immediately come save me with the copy of the key kept at the agency, and I'm about to make it to my 11am class because they were so fast. 5/5 golden panties for these folks!

Unprofessional behaviour by Michael Kafrouny: when you have an open house visit and you don't show up. We waited more tha 30 min.and left. What a waste of time for more than 20 people waiting.

As first time investors we couldn't be happier with our experience with Paul Clarke and the team taking our unit through the process of preparation, viewings and tenant selection. Raine and Horne were great, and the result was terrific!
I wish there was a way to leave minus stars, we had a horrible experience dealing with Lorin Bachir from Newtown. This women tried to kick us out after a car drove into the house and they then tried to issue us with a section 109 with no evidence the house was damaged enough to do so. I could write an essay on the stupidity of the situation but it’s embarrassing how they handled things.
These people are so detached from the work they actually do they I’m not sure they even know how to do their job when they really need to. Good luck to anyone that deals with her in the future, and make sure you track her negligence.
Similar terrible ratings here from others with similar situations. Super nice when moving in, but a different scenario when moving out. My previous interactions with Allen as my property manager were not favourable.

I live on the other side of the world and feel like I received the same level of service as if I lived in the same suburb.
