I cannot understand the witch hunt on Hilary Moy all of a sudden. From what I know a property manager acts on behalf of the owner. Maybe you should take a hard look at why your bond monies are being deducted. Just remember to be nice to your property manager as with such poor ethics you keyboard warriors are unlikely to own your own home anytime soon. DONT BE AN ONLINE BULLY

Horrific treatment.
Stay away from the property manager Hilary Moy.

Absolutely no communication unless it suited her. Once went 3 days without hot water in winter due to her not picking up the phone & not answering emails. Just lost $450 from the bond to replace something that was documented as broken before we moved in (my partner and I were extremely stressed with moving and after arguing back and forth for over 2 weeks we gave in to just had it over with). Likes to book inspections on 2 days notice and ask to use the owners key when you can’t make it. Payed $350 to have the carpet steam cleaned before we vacated to have it replaced literally the next day. The property has issues with the electrical box and plumbing (horrible smells all through the house) that my partner had to fix himself because Hilary refused to respond or send us help. We spent our own money to fix the back yard and had it all approved (grass didn’t grow, horrible bushes that attracted snakes) for it to be used as an example in there “leniency” (the owner herself told me to leave the garden bed in when I leave). Most importantly I organised a clean that wasn’t good enough so they had to return (I take responsibility) Hilary refused to let the cleaners pick up and drop off the house key so when the cleaners left, Hilary was in a meeting and left the owners house open whilst this real estate tried to leave me responsible when I had handed in the keys and moved 2 hours away the week prior. I had to contact the neighbours of the duplex myself to make sure nobody entered the property. Her attitude has always been horrible and all we needed was some help.

This is the only review I have ever written, I write this to warn people of the way this property manager “manages” properties. As this was the first house I have ever rented I have learnt a lot, and will never accept this treatment again.

Hilary Moy made moving in, living at and moving on from 438 Maroubra Rd a brilliant experience all round! Would happily recommend the firm and her in particular to anyone looking to rent in the Maroubra area.

I don't recommend this real state, I delivered my apartment better than when I entered, I paid painting and cleaner companies to deliver the apartment in perfect condition, carpet, walls, windows, everything ok! I spent more than the bond itself and still they took my bond, attendant HILARY, rude, didn't give the necessary assistance, just rude! I don't recommend it to anyone, stay away!

Trudie has been managing my property for the past couple of years and it has been great knowing that her experience and persistence was in my corner. With a self-managed strata things aren't always easy but Trudie kept going and always got a good outcome.

Dealing with Hilary Moy has been an absolute pleasure. She has assisted us with all of our requests efficiently. She is extremely professional and definitely an asset to the agency. I highly recommend Hilary and Raine & Horne Maroubra

Do not rent with this agent! The condescending property manager Hilary exploits the tenancy laws to take the most money out of your bond, without providing needed service and any help. Be warned!

I found my current unit with Raine and Horne Maroubra. I have nothing but praise for everyone I have dealt with. The staff are professional and nothing seems to much trouble. The real estate agent (Joel) went above and beyond by liaising with the owners and they agreed to put in a second wardrobe, which was my one of my not negotiable things. I was so happy I wrote a thank you letter to the manager. Hilary my property manager is helpful with any questions about the property.
