Raine & Horne Hornsby

After living in the Hornsby area all my life. There are over 10 real estate agents in Hornsby ; Rain and Horne Hornsby have been here the longest. I have found them the only decent Real estate agent. Chris Hopkins from Rain and Horne, They went over and above all expectations selling my property.
Beware! The rest are sharks just hunting down a commission check selling at at any cost to the owner.
We will be using Rain and Horne again, 100 percent!

I highly recommend Chris Hopkins from Raine and Horne, Chris has a very friendly and professional approach. He keeps you up to date with the progress of your sale and gives good advise to maximize the price of your house. Glad we went to Raine and Horne, would use them again.

We chose Raine & Horne Hornsby to manage our rental property in 2019 due to the great reviews online. They are generally ok however, we feel they work more towards the interests of the tenants as opposed to landlords. Recently, Raine & Horne Hornsby organised repairs of an airconditioning controller system which should still be under warranty without the authorisation by us (landlord) and we ended up paying for these repairs. As property managers, I do not think they are up to scratch and this matter remains an ongoing issue for the last 2 weeks and counting despite multiple emails.

It is a pleasure to deal with each and every one of them.

I became their landlord customer in early stage of their business. Most of the times, they are ok if there is no problems.

I figured their business strategy is to focus on the tenants. They are very nice to the tenants and do act in their best interest all times. They even call landlords to fix loose toilet seat.

When the tenant moved out, they waited to the last minute to tell the landlord and insist to refund full bond even there is cleaning issue.

They do not open house because they are worried bothering the tenant. They push landlord to sell properties every time (3 emails and 2 phone calls) the tenant asks.they charge 7.7% management fee from the landlords but work hard for the tenants.

As a landlord, we never bother the agent or the tenant for the years we work together. They didn't handle the last bit well so we decide to depart. The new agent told me they refuse to handover the management and our property is still not on the market after all this time.

Not saying they are bad people, just their business strategy is not landlord friendly. The tenants shall give them 5 stars.

I am sure there are happy landlords but we are not one of them.

I am extremely grateful for the friendly service and expert advice provided to me by Chris Hopkins and his team. I would highly recommend Raine & Horne Hornsby to anyone seeking real estate services in the local area.

Bit hard to get used to Real Estate agents (everyone at R&H Hornsby) who call you back, suggest properties, know whats going on, are still working past closing, arrange appointments to suit you (the client), friendly & on & on. Hey other agents - Try it some time!

This is an exceptional real estate agency. I have had dealings with six staff members of Raine & Horne Hornsby and if I could give them a higher rating, then I would. The reasons why my dealings with R&H Hornsby have been so positive is as follows.
1. Exceptional customer service dealings, by the owner of the business, the property managers, the reception staff, as well as the sales staff;
2. High level of responsiveness, with positive interaction in all written and verbal communication;
3. Caring, understanding and very helpful personalities, who will go out of their way to assist you in resolving your queries. If there is a way to help you as either a landlord or a tenant (in regards to tenancy), then they will do everything possible, whilst upholding a very positive, professional and ethical course of dealings;
4. High quality properties are advertised, with any maintenance already completed prior to viewing properties and they take care of both landlords and tenants in regards to providing and maintaining high calibre properties.
Further to this, the human quality of the experience in dealing with this real estate agency could not be any better. They understand about life difficulties and that things don't always go according to plan. Whether you are a landlord or a tenant, their understanding, caring and attentive manner can not be more outstanding.
Whenever I am in Sydney and whenever I will be in Sydney, they will always be the real estate agency whom I will choose to have dealings with over any other agencies. Personally, understanding, empathy, integrity, high responsiveness and attentiveness rate highly with me.
If only ALL real estate agencies treated ALL of their landlords AND tenants as courteously and respectfully as Raine and Horne Hornsby. It just doesn't get any better! Other agencies both within the Sydney metropolitan area and further afield intrastate and interstate would do well to take some notes.

Georgia was the most helpful staff member I have ever come across, she answered all of my questions so fast and gave some amazing advice! The staff was responsive and genuinely took my interests into account, couldn't rave higher about them!
