Quest Albury on Townsend reviews
51If you want a hotel with no daily cleaning this is it, very disappointing, I had to ask reception for toilet paper for god sake, you would think that during covid-19 the rooms would be spotless, dust behind the toilet and grime on the shower.would never go back.staff seem like they dont care.
The premier hotel in Albury is located in the historic Wool Store building. The roomy suites range to three bedrooms with several decorated with original Aboriginal artworks. It differs from other art hotels in that it features multiple artists with their original works.
Quest on Townsend is a member of the North East Aboriginal Art Trail, sponsored by Aboriginal Exhibitions Gallery. Superb artworks hang in the foyer and the dedicated gallery area on the first level. More pieces decorate the liftwells, hallways and suites.
What a lovely apartment hotel this is, indeed.
Beautifully appointed suites and amazing staff.
If you don't stay here you are truly missing out on a high class establishment and a truly lovely experience as a guest. Well done Quest.
Very noisy. Cleaned on the surface but hairs in the bathroom and a very strong curry smell which could easily be fixed by spreading ground coffee then vacuuming. Quick overnight stay
Well located in Albury. Fairly quiet. Friendly staff, good undercover parking. We had a studio room. They are not the largest rooms but have a kitchenette. The king size bed was comfortable. The problem was that the room smelt like a wet dog.
Amazing hotel, good soooo clean and can't fault the customer service especially the gentleman who took my booking over the phone, just sad that I didn't get his name.
Very comfortable accommodation in a really spacious 2 bedroom apartment, and it was dog friendly, which was perfect for our puppy
We would like to thank the staff at Quest Albury on Townsend.
After our family had numerous complications due to COVID and other issues, they we always warm, professional, friendly, accomodating and generally great all round. Highly recommend this hotel and if we come back to Albury, we will definitely stay there again. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, walking distance to the main street with cafes etc, botanical gardens, supermarket, even the pool near by. We loved the Turbo Brown paintings on the walls too:)
We could not have been happier with our experience, thanks so much for all your help and flexibility. Wishing you all the best. Sue.
Very friendly staff, very modern, clean great price. Quiet, but fantastic location still. Would definitely stay again and highly recommended from me
I liked this hotel it was great for one night. It was at a good standard, everything was well kept. There is nothing too special, everything was average. Worth the money.
Quest Albury on Townsend is in a great location. I was in Albury to do an install at MAMA, which is situated 650m away. I was in town for 6 nights so it was important for me to have quiet, comfortable room were I could relax at the end of the day. I was travelling with my little dog so had an Executive Suite, which I really appreciated. It had a balcony, separate lounge area were I could relax, the kitchenette had a full size fridge and alI the things I needed to prepare meals. I also had a washing machine and dryer in my suite which I used. The internet was reliable, which was good. My suite didn’t have a view but that wasn’t an issue. For me as quietness was my priority. One last thing, I found the check in staff to be very friendly and helpful.
I highly recommend Quest Albury on Townsend to anyone travelling to Albury. When I am next in Albury for an extended trip I will be checking in again.
We had a large comfortable room and adequate kitchenette which made for a comfortable stay. The receptionist was excellent and advised how to upgrade our internet speed for a Zoom meeting with a voucher.
Had a late check in at 9pm, the reception was closed and it was not easy to find the key, the room was still filthy from the previous guests, rubbish bins full, doona on the floor, dirty dishes, towels on the floor and in the bath. They took a very long time to move us to a clean room so we sat in the dirty cold room with nowhere else to go as reception was closed. The room they moved us to was not what we paid for, the heating did not work, there were loud strange noises all night and the shower pressure was non existent. Was told the manager would call.still waiting! Won't get my money again!
We had a late check in and received no communication on how to get our key. We had to call 6 times to find out how to get into the building. Our room had a condom wrapper under the bed, beard shavings in the bathroom sink, no hot water and no power initially (we had to search in the dark to find the power box to turn the power switch on). I would avoid this place.
The receptionist was very polite. Felt like I was in a hospital walking down to the room. Room was dark and dingy, very dusty curtains, black in between tiles on bath bottom. I advised reception of issues and we were not happy, she politely apologised and contacted management and was advised that I would not receive any refund $625 wasted. They could have refunded 3 or of 4 nights booked. I do not recommend this hotel at all. Expensive 4 nights accomodation.
Well appointed good size room with kitchenette. Nice and quiet but easy walking distance to town centre and amenities
High quality of rooms with all the necessities needed to enjoy your stay. Would recommend this business if looking for getaway.
Staff are friendly. The room you get can be hit or miss. A bit of a walk if your room is down the back. Hallway has no air flow. Ample parking. Close to KFC
Friendly staff, very clean, comfortable rooms and within walking distance to shops and cafes. Highly recommend.
Yolanda@front reception was very friendly and helpful even with our late night check-in. We stayed at the service apartment. It was definitely spacious.
Please consider putting more CCTV within the car park, all entry points and shutting all gates during after hours for extra security.
Closeby to Coles and other fast-food restaurants.
Able to charge an EV which is handy.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.
Will definitely add this positive review on TripAdvisor.
