Quest Albury on Townsend reviews
51Fantastic friendly staff, who can't help you enough. Perfect location to town centre, and a shopping centre with a Coles just across the road.
Central location to everything.
Helpful & easy for late check in.
Paid carpark but not secure. Might as well have parked on the street.
Bed as stiff as a fence post.
And to top it off, housekeeping walking in on you in the morning while the door is “locked”!
Worst Quest I have stayed at: (
We stayed here recently for a work trip, and would highly recommend it. The staff were exceptionally helpful, and we appreciated the little extra touches in the rooms such as personal welcome notes and chocolate. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the hotel is very conveniently located.
Highly recommended for business stays - we'll be back next time we're in Albury.
The staff through my luggage against my wall and unplugged all my chargers that were in outlets when cleaning my room.
Stayed here 3 nights in an executive room. Parking is easy, but there was no notification prior of the $15 per night charge.
Room was a good size, with a separate bedroom, kitchenette and small balcony.
Anyone with mobility issues needs to beware: The shower is in the bathtub and requires a step up. There is no handrail to assist making it very hazardous if not careful.
The other negative was that footsteps in the hallway were very audible until late at night.
Extremely surprised at the amazing room size and facilities. Could not recommend highly enough especially when bringing a pet.
Excellent room, however the time of the room being available was not good, we're expecting to get our room at 2.00pm we finally got a room at 3.15, when arriving at our room we discovered that we got the wrong room, 1 bathroom instead of 2 bathrooms. A change had to be made again, so we finally got into our booked room at 4.00 pm.
Running very late for our appointments.
Service desk was very accommodating.
I stayed here for 6 nights and there is a lot to like about the Quest, but the reason I cut the rating back was purely for the lack of appropriate furnishings in the bathroom. The shower is within the bath and there is a height differential between the bath and the floor. There are NO rails or anything that you can grasp when entering or exiting the shower. It would be very simple to install at least one rail and there were many in my Reunion group who had the same issue.
Location is great and staff were most helpful and a delightful cafe across the road.
We escaped Melbourne for a weekend in albury.booked a two bedroom apartment and we had a spectacular time.it had a kitchen and loungeroom.check in was smooth and plenty of off street parking.we will return.
Don’t loose your room card after 9pm cause there’s no receptionist at the reception after 9pm and they take forever to meet you in their 10min time frame that they disclose.
Loved our room, it was clean and well set out and the kitchette made hotel living great when we felt like a cooked meal
I would choose to stay here everytime.
Nice, clean and functional. Room was spacious. Would have been nice to have a seat to sit and read in the corner. Great having undercover parking.
DEFINITELY not a 4 star … this is closer to 2 or a 3 star.
Our apartment was VERY dusty and definitely not vacuumed for some time. The curtains, bed side tables full of dust. The living room couch so uncomfortable.
The rooms are very dark and have horrible dim lights.
What RUINED the stay was the noise from what appears to be an extractor fan in ensuite which cannot be turned off. It’s REALLY loud at night even with door closed in room 138.
The building overall in need of some TLC.
Not happy and hoping management can see this to refund what we spent for the one night.
I would look elsewhere to stay unless you are happy to pay 4 star price.
This hotel got us a great deal at 5pm on a public holiday night - dropping $50 off the overnight rate for a two bedroom apartment. The room and hotel generally were very very clean. There is a small gym, laundry, and is connected to a restaurant downstairs called Din Dins which is a high quality Asian fusion eating place. It has great art throughout the building. The parking is close and secure and at zero cost. It is one block off the main street so close walking distance to restaurants and shops - right in the centre of town. The prices are generally reasonable for the quality of rooms. WiFi was free and good connection and speed. Need to stay in Albury - then stay here!
Well maintained rooms with excellent amenities. The two negative points are poor natural lighting and noise at nights, especially weekends disturbing sleep.
Great place situated in the heart of Albury with easy walking distance to everywhere.
Also very hospitable and welcoming staff. The room was very accessible for a wheelchair user, lifts to get upstairs and everything was flat.
I can't recommend Quest on Townsend enough. The staff were amazing, friendly and always willing to help.
I stayed there for 5 weeks.
I travel a lot for work and stayed in a lot of motels. The apartment was the best I've stayed in. Extremely clean and furnished nicely.
The apartment had everything I needed and more. Full Kitchen, full size fridge, microwave and all utensils.it even had a bath. And a deck.
The location was also fantastic. 5 minute walk to shopping centre.
I will definitely stay there again
I would recommend this property to anyone, whether they had a pet or not. The whole experience was great. For a pet friendly hotel the rooms were exceptional. They were well kept and the facilities were nice. A very rare find anywhere in Australia and particularly at this price point. I loved that there was no additional pet fee unless there was damage. Also lots of great food nearby.
Been here since the 14 July with work and finding the Staff really great
Recomend tgis place anytime
Great undercover parking and nicely decorated motel. Well situated and friendly staff. Would stay again.
